Morning all 06 September 2011 08:12 (permalink)
Finally after months (maybe years) I've decided to sign up to the forum. Just from lurking around the various forums on here I've managed to find some great advice and tips on both training and nutrition. Decided it was now time to actually sign up, maybe try give back to the community in some way, but mainly to now get some more specific help/advice .

I'm based within a leafy village in West Yorkshire, and I'm currently undertaking a law degree. I've been training now for about 3 years, but it's been on and off a lot of the time due to the other commitments I have. Generally I've followed a typical "bodybuilding split" routine, mon-wed-fri, a different group of muscles each day. It has worked well for me in terms of gaining mass, but I've finally seen the light and want to shift my current routine to being focused more upon functional strength.

So here I am looking for advice on equipment/different routines, hopefully I'll make myself accustomed here and stick around for the long term
