MuscleTech and jack3d
11 February 2012 12:57
( permalink)
Hi Everybody I recently started taking a scoop of jack3d pre workout and 1 scoop of MuscleTechs Anabolic Halo post workout with a protein drink after this. After about 4 days of this I got really sick the following night and threw up. I was wondering if anyone have any experience with any of these products or have an idea of the combo of them might not be a good idea ? thanks

all jack3d (same as most pre work outs do to me) ever did to me was make me feel sick and suppress my appetite , actually threw up in the gym after dealifts once. i've never used the halo so cant really comment there. i cant see why either of these products would make you sick days after use though, unless it was some sort of allergic reaction.

could be to much stims too soon, i dont no what mt halo is but iv heard jaked is strong. i used caffine powder once, had too much and was ill as fuk once it had worn off try a smaller dose for now, stims only have a good effect for 2-4weeks so taking only what you need will prolong its effects as you up the doses, if you take max doses from the start you will prob be off your face a week or 2 and then nothing lol
i believe with a healthy active lifestyle and some good knowledge and aas/peps use etc that you can live a longer stronger better life. main interests: physique conditioning, bbj, muay thai.

Forking out 45 bills on 40 servings of 17g of carbs and some creatine would make me sick to my stomach too.

MuscleTech Anabolic Halo If there is a more overpriced over hyped product on the market ive never seen it . This is around £40 for 1KG Its first 3 ingredients Maltodextrin, dextrose, creatine monohydrate and it doesnt get much better after that. but back to the question if your having Jack3d pre and the Halo Post then I cant see how they would make you sick unless you just dont like 1 or the other. 1 scoop of Jack3d shouldnt be to bad and as you say it didnt make you sick instantly it was after 4 days of taking.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I think it might be the combo and too much too soon and my stomach said stop.. Also seen that side effects on the jack3d could be no appetite and nausia. think I will drop the jack3d for now as I didnt notice any effect from it really and then start very very slowly on the post Halo. I am still curious on any deeper knowledge on the Halo and if anyone would recommend anything instead that build mucle mass. cheers!

If you do want something extra in your workout you could try some BCAAs as drink whilst training this is a much better option take a look at something like BBW Excel.

I think the majority of Muscletechs products are overhyped, overpriced garbage...they claim to have new 'special' formulas that are the best ever & will turn you into Phil Heath or Jay Cutler. They just pay loads of top bodybuilders to say that their products are the sh!t & have about a dozen pages worth of adverts in Flex, M&F etc.. I bought the naNOx9 pre-workout and it didnt do anything, complete waste of money. Avoid!

django22 Okay, never had any problems with BBW Excel? What does it for you during your training? well its a mix of BCAAs, glutamine ,Citruline Malate and Vitamin B6 really designed to improve recovery and muscle breakdown. Some say its helps with DOMS the ache pain people get whilst training and after
