Mobster James Be careful what you read. Other companies will go out of their way to put down their competitors. Myprotein are a reputable company and their products are great. To do so would be shooting ourselves in the foot. For all intents and purposes we sell the same product. Eh?! There are 100s of other companies and some do do this!

Ahh but they all try the 'our product is different' by adding small variations in ingredients. Not quite the same when our group sell unflavoured - as per the old ad line - with nothing added and nothing taken away. It becomes that much harder to say which is better.

For real? Look at the point you made before. My responses above are in regard to that. Especially the 'we all sell the same product' in the unflavoured sector. It's arguable among flavoured 'branded' companies who have a habit of adding to their product that their product differs and so, as they may claim, is better. But in the unflavoured sector you're pretty much buying the same product. None of the companies known for selling it claim anything more or above others in the sector. The taste is subjective, the amino ratios almost identical (very small differences per 100g) and so on. So to 'put down' (as was the inference) would be shooting one self in the foot.

Yes, Steve 'for real'! That's what I didn't get: your responses being in repsonse to me making a point about being careful what you read! You are of course completely correct in what you're saying, but I don't get it's relevance to my point. I was only saying some companies do try to put down others, whethere there be any truth or not. As it happens we now know this wasn't another company but on 10 March 2010 16:42 none of us knew this!
