Rob.

Use the recipe on the first page but add an extra 40-50 grams of whey protein.

Made these this morning and have to say they're fantastic! I went for the Blackcurrant flavour and they came out just right.
Only thing was that I used a big plastic spoon to stir the mix,as it was all I had, after 2 mins it looked like Uri Gellar had been working his magic. Bent as a banana thats a sticky mix!
I took some pics but can't work out to upload them??

ok just made some today, not sure if i did something wrong, mine turned out like a very thick fudgey type paste, they wernt like bars really as they didnt seem to hold together like a bar would. Neverthless they taste good.

You may need to add a little more whey in order to get them to set.

Impressed though guys.

could you use summin like sugar free angel delight instead of sugar free crystal jelly.

i was thinking somthing like:

100 grams of Quark
50 grams of Whole Earth Peanut Butter
50 grams of Almonds
115 grams of St Ivel Gold lowest fat spread
2 packets of Sugar Free banana angel delight
150 grams of banana whey protein.

Cheers Gaz,

make em yesterday 4 the first time, what a result, they were lush!

I made em with rasberry flavour jelly and chocolate flavoured whey.

Next time I think I'll use milk protein concentrate instead of whey as I intend to have em b4 going to bed.

I'm a regular scoffer of these and they are fantastic! A workmate saw me eating one today and he thought I was eating a dog chew!
Just a thought would they set if I were to use chocolate options powder??

Yes, they may help a little, i.e. more powder for the liquids to set into.

Try it mate.

Sweet!!

I think I've just found the answer to my high protein/low carb bar problem. Do these "travel" well? i.e. once they're out the fridge and start to reheat do they go all gooey again?
Need to put my chef's hat on this afternoon!!
