          Dont think so really mate.

Perhaps add some more whey if it is a bit runny, next time.

What i do is wait for them to set ontop then turn over so they harden on other side

It works out good because i don't officially have a morning break, so if i let them set on one side, slice into segments then turn over - i can eat them while working as they are solid enough to hold in my hand and eat... Like a mars bar

Might try some different flavours soon actually with my bars.

Have only tried lemon and lime, and strawberry at the moment.

Ooooh lemon and lime, that sounds funky! Any good?

ive tried strawberry and orange. Orange was nice actually but not as good as strawberry for me

Lemon and Lime one was ok, not as good as the strawberry though.

has anyone tried mixing flavours? Lemon+Lime+Orange or strwaberry+rasberry etc?

Also I know it probably more expensive. But could you substitute the almonds and St Ivel spread for just Almond Butter? Or is that just silly!

The actual almonds and St Ivel spread is there to actually help with binding the mixture together and a bit of texture so i wouldnt replace it.

Sydmus has tried many flavours, you could have a look in his thread.

Heres a few pictures of my latest batch.

Made with cottage cheese and taste delicious.

Only problem being I keep eating the damn mixture!

How long do yours usually take to set?

They look good mate, erm not long at all really.

They normally set pretty quickly, the first time i came up with the recipe i had to be quite quick as the mix was actually setting when i was trying to get it into the dish.

I think it must be the baking tin. Mine are quite thick and are taking a good bit longer.
Must get myself a larger tray instead of this loaf tin!
