Just made up a slightly modified batch flavoured with belgian chocolate options, vanilla essence and half the butter/spread. The mix tastes great, just hoping they set properly now!

What container do you use when storing in fridge to set. I was using a metalic one but i kept scraping it when trying to get the bars out to cut up and it turned rusty after washing.

Hey Gaz Is this lowest fat spread still available? I looked in Tesco and Sainsbury today and could not see it. Also, I am a bit hesitant on using these sorts of spreads as they contain small amounts of Trasnfats, which i know we are supposed to avoid like the plague.

hi mate i brought these ingredients yesterday and made the recipe today. well what can i say im extremely dissapointed. you should have mentioned this before. they are extemely tasty and addictive. a bit sweet but i can try this again next time with less strawberry jelly and more whey. i used the usn whey strawberry protein-this is what may have made it a bit sweet. thanks again. will take pics next time. i coudnt wait for it to set so i put it in the freezer for about 30 mins lol. cant wait to try other flavours.

Thought they tasted lush, used the black current jelly this time but plan to experiment with flavours. Also I think next time I may use more PB and less spread as they was a little too "greasy".

ORIGINAL: Sharkz could you use summin like sugar free angel delight instead of sugar free crystal jelly. i was thinking somthing like: 100 grams of Quark 50 grams of Whole Earth Peanut Butter 50 grams of Almonds 115 grams of St Ivel Gold lowest fat spread 2 packets of Sugar Free banana angel delight 150 grams of banana whey protein. Sugar free Angel Delight? Where do you get that ****? Is it still hi in carbs from the cornflour?
