NO shotgun, Creatine, protein shakes... help and advice needed on supplements please!! 18 July 2012 18:30 (permalink)
Hi,
I take my training quite seriously and am up the gym 5 times a week.. I have a good routine and recently discovered creatine (im quite new to suppliments)! This has really improved the weight im lifting and has kind of progressed me to another level! I was speaking with a guy today who recommended NO shotgun.. So i figure why not?

Would anyone recommend this suppliment?

Would this be my sole supplement or would i still use the creatine at the same time, im thinking this would be overload right?
ALso, is there still a need for me to take a protein shake post workout? i currently take PHD's synergy iso7...

many thanks...

Wouldn't bother.  Concentrate on eating properly.

NO shotgun is ok , it was very good a while back but a few have overtaken it since.

I know Liam used to rate it.

You can still have creatine as it doesnt have enough for you to hit the maximum levels like most pre workouts you can have both BUT just noticed your taking Iso 7 whicj hs 5 grams per sering so I wouldnt bother with adding more.

IF your not getting enough protein in your diet you still will need to supplement with protein (i would do this anyway following a workout) but I assume thats what your doing with the Iso7.

I used to rate it as a low stim approach to using a preworkout, nice mix of ingrediants and decent value if only using 1 scoop per workout nice focus and a nice pump. Has lots of extras, but as redwing said there are better out there. I also stoped using it when i realised its ingrediant profile didnt quite add up... from what i could gather  it was basically just a protein with added bcaa bonded mix, with about 3-4gs of prop blended sprinkles lol
