Thursday 18th February This morning i did 45 minutes cardio on the exercise bike.... ...this evening i did a further 60 minutes cardio on the exercise bike.

Friday 19th February This morning i did 45 minutes cardio on the exercise bike. This evening i did 60 minutes cardio on the exercise bike..... ...followed by 15 minutes on the heavy bag.

Saturday 20th February Weekly Weigh-In 03/01/10 - 14st 10lbs (93.4kg) - Waist 40" 03/01/10 - 15st 0.5lbs (95.5kg) - Weighed just before bed.... and my heaviest weight ever! 08/01/10 - 14st 5.5lbs (91.4kg) 10/01/10 - 14st 9lbs (93kg) 16/01/10 - 14st 4lbs (90.7kg) 22/01/10 - 14st 3lbs (90.3kg) - Weighed in a day early 30/01/10 - 14st 0.5lbs (89.1kg) - Waist 38.5" 06/02/10 - 13st 13lbs (88.5kg) 13/02/10 - 13st 11lbs (87.5kg) 20/02/10 - 13st 9lbs (86.6kg) Still a nice steady loss of 2lbs over the week. Considering my weekends include junk food and alcohol, plus i missed a night of training during the week. It won't be too long before i need to clamp down on the weekend diet as my weight loss slows. Although for now it's working for me as it is.

1ManRiot Should have entered the shape-up comp with progress like that NN! Good work! Forgot all about that... in fact had'nt even realised it was on again! To be fair though, i probably still would'nt have due to the fact i'm not putting 100% into my goal, otherwise i'd tighten up over the weekends and not have random off days in the week. At the moment i'm just keeping a nice balance between progressing towards my goal and having a satisfying social life.

Monday 22nd February This evening i worked my chest. Flat Barbell Bench Press 20 reps with 60kg (warm up) 9 reps with 100kg 7 reps with 100kg 5 reps with 105kg 3 reps with 105kg Finished off with 45 minutes cardio on the exercise bike. After my first working set i felt a 'not so nice' twinge in my neck..... but 'cleverly' i carried on, which then made it worse. At that point i called it a day as the left side of my neck had gone quite sore and stiff ....and still is! I think it was due to maybe not warming up enough and training in a very cold garage.

Tuesday 23rd February This morning i did 60 minutes cardio on the exercise bike. This evening i did another 60 minutes cardio on the exercise bike..... ...followed by 6 rounds on the heavy bag (3 minute rounds with 1 minute rest intervals). Not doing any more weights till next week. Neck is still sore from yesterday plus i fancy more of a focus on cardio this week.

shane278 Thats some serious time on the bike your doing, fair play. What do you do to get through it, ipod?? Dvd?? Yeah, tell me about it!!! lol In one 24 hour period i'd clocked up 3 1/2 hours on the bike... plus some time on the heavy bag. To be fair though, i probably went a little overboard with it this week, but seen as i did nearly no weight training i just felt i needed to make up for it and hammer the cardio. I used to use an ipod, but don't bother at the moment.

brittas Good steady weight loss there mate. Whats your diet like? Cheers. I'm pleased with progress so far. My diet is not quite the average plan you'd see in the diet section, but it's suits me and works for me. Breakfast Bowl of Bran Flakes with skimmed milk Throughout the day Approx 500g Tuna mixed with 300g light coleslaw... eaten with a few Rivita Crackerbreads Approx mid-day One banana Post workout Protein shake All this gives me approx... 1700 Kcals....190g Protein.....150g Carbs.....35g Fat This plan is all approx, and it's only followed Monday to Friday. On the weekends i eat what i like ....for now.

Monday 1st March This evening i worked my chest. Flat Dumbell Bench Press 10 reps with 44kg 10 reps with 44kg 8 reps with 44kg 8 reps with 44kg 7 reps with 44kg 6 reps with 44kg 4 reps with 44kg 4 reps with 44kg Flat Dumbell Flyes 10 reps with 24kg 10 reps with 24kg 10 reps with 24kg Finished off with 30 minutes on the exercise bike. Dropped the barbell work for tonight. Got possibly my best on the dumbells, so pleased with that.

Tuesday 2nd March This morning i did 30 minutes cardio on the exercise bike. This evening i worked my legs and back. Squats 10 reps with 60kg (warm up) 12 reps with 100kg 10 reps with 105kg 6 reps with 105kg 10 reps with 105kg 6 reps with 110kg Wide Grip Chins 10 reps 10 reps 9 reps 8 reps 7 reps Finished off with 60 minutes cardio on the exercise bike. Had a little lapse in concentration on the 3rd working set of squats, but other than that it was a fairly pleasing workout overall.
