    Big Les

Personally I give the show to Ronny because of that front double on Kai!
If that had been someones first show and not Kai Greene it would haven't even made the top 6.

I can see your point but based on one pose? you miss how rockell's lower abs were distended for the 2nd-3rd time this year as well and lacking separation throughout his physique. If anything Beyeke was above rockell in my eyes.

IB has posted pictures where you see him against others, and there is no contest. The others were going for 2nd place.
Roelly looks like a small boy next to the big boys, same story again.
Rodney was outmassed and out-conditioned. Pictures show it all. Front and rear- no contest.

    yup, exactly this.... imo

Les, I read your post and saw the pic and I couldn't have agreed with you more.
However, I read on with the topic and saw more pics and now I couldn't disagree with you more!  You can't judge a physique on one post.  Furthermore, you can't judge a show on photos!  Photos are static in nature and who no movement.  How do we know that the snapshot on the front double bi didn't catch Kai not in full pose?

Looking at the other photos, I can see why Kai won.  I can also see he didn't win by a mile though.

        ^^^

Yes I agree he looks better in rear shots than all of them, especially the back shot where elbows pulled back etc.

But still think he is ugly looking BB, but hey ho each to their own, Phil heath seems to have packed lots of mass on but I do not see many pics of his gut looking like a basketball :)

I am not slating him as a BB (top 10 MR O and im just a pencil neck watching him ) this is just my opinion on him, we all have favourites / people we dislike etc

James: one thing for sure, I cant judge shows - in fact I can usually be assured, the best physique in my opinion will not win.

Maybe I am being overly harsh - and in other pictures his midsection is better than it has been - lets hope George brings everything back to where it needs to be.
I was hoping to see judging rewarding crispy conditioning - which this year seems to have been thin on the ground!

I partly agree with Les although in this show I guess Greene was the most heavily muscled by a margin. I personally don't like his shape and some poses he looks horrendous in imo. Take someone like James Lewis who I think has achieved a near perfect blend of mass and shape with super conditioning, who although was beaten by a man with more "density" should have won again imo.

Dav: I disagree about Flex - looking at him next to Raymond you can see that Raymond has a bit more density and thickness plus more pop to his muscles, with a smidge more condition.

Flex is a young lad, and has a great team, he could easily make improvements between now and September in the areas identfied as being just behind at weekend - as he already has made substantial improvements to his physique.

I also think that of the current crop Flex has the frame and structure to move on into the open class, compete in the 220s and look like 290 without suffering - much like a young lee priest did.

I agree with you about his progress/potential Les but still preferred the "package" he brought but thats just me, think he has brilliant balance and shape (which I guess is more genetic), which I still feel should be considered when judging/scoring.

Raymond's back beat flex's hands down, the rear lat spread is a good pose to see the difference.
Its tight between the two and FLex has come on a long way but raymond was granite hard conditioning wise to boot
