Name of bar/club in Bristol (Brizzle)last night

Really impressed with the city. Started off at Rileys, then went on for a meal at Zero Degrees where I sampled some real ales for the first time. Enjoyed the wheat ale.

Afterwards we ended up watching a jazz band at the Duke, before shipping to some strip joint where we paid for some strippers to dance for our mate on the main stage, followed by a private dance where he asked for the girls to rip hairs out his chest, haha. What ever floats your boat I guess!!

At this point things were a bit hazey and we ended up wandering around for 30 mins before being directed to a little bar/club playing a good style of disco/funk/house. I can't remember what it was called, but I have a faded stamp on my hand that reads 'Mr W.....'.

Anyone from Bristol know the place I'm talking about?

Well I am glad you have been impressed with your night out in Brizzle!  Zero Degrees is probably my favourite restaurant here, I'm not a big lager drinker at all but being a micro brewery and they brew the beer in house, it's really flavoursome and I usually knock back a few pints.  The pizzas are amazing, did you try one?

Ah yes, Mr Wolfs - always a pain in the arse to get into!  Good tho.

LOL I don't ever have a problem getting into anywhere, I can't remember the last time I paid or queued to get in somewhere.  Last night was funny, went to a club up near Clifton quite late, loads of people queuing in the rain outside....I walked straight in with my chaperone, some of the guys at the front of the queue were getting really eggy at me!  HUH!  "It's not what you know it's who you know!....heeeeeeeeee!

What happened in ZD then Big P??

Xmas party a year or two back.  I ate my dinner and one of my mates didn't want all her pizza.  So I ate it.  Then for some reason everyone start passing their plates down the table to me people began chanting "eat eat eat".  Everyone was looking in the resturant.

I only had bruschetta (sp) as my appetite disappears when I drink heavily. Still, it tasted good.

Both Zero and Mr Wolfs were very busy, but the staff were really friendly at both

I was looking at jobs Bristol way a few months ago, wouldn't mind living there. Seems a good size city without being to much of a metropolis like London or Birmingham.

Been to a few of the places listed as was working in Bristol for ages (while living in Swindon) - really, really like Bristol. As of this Friday coming I will be living in Bristol full time, so looking forward to enjoying even more of it!

Mr. Wolfs used to be decent if you needed somewhere to carry on drinking at like 4/5am, not been in there for years.

Didnt they used to serve noodles and **** at the bar with the drinks?!

That really used to pee me off at the lizard longue in bristol when I had been quing for an hour in sub zero temps and then people would just walk to the front and go in. Thankfully now I am one of those people but I always feel guilty for at least 30 seconds!

Yeah I only noticed today. There will be no quilt tonight. Had a few beers too many last night and went for a sleep this afternoon. Within minutes I was dripping with sweat. The joys of Tren and Carlsberg Export!
