Part 1 makes me happy. Part 2 makes me sad. Overall, I'm neutral about this workout.

    Moderate work BB!

        Thanks fellas,

I have a rather embarassing admission to make.

I got a filthy, dirty, juicy pump on the bicep work and it was mildly enjoyable..

Cricket- expect more moderate workouts soon...

Ian- getting the license back in 2-3 weeks so will give you a shout.

          Jimmy-

Arms have actually grown 1/4 inch since I last measured them... if only other bodyparts were so easy to add girth to lol.

Pagan- Not actually training at MW yet, just thinking of moving to that area so thought i'd check it out... Genesis gym in West London takes some beating, some top guys down there!

Front Squat PB, think the heaviest i've been is 130kg x2 the other week, think 140kg may be there for a single at the mo.

No13- Yeah I was a student at Manchester, loved it, and would move back up given the chance, but career is in London for the foreseeable future. Where do you train?

Ian- Good stuff pal. Even if I don't have my bloody license back I can get a lift down with mum's bf who lives in Southampton.

In my first year (when I was only half arsed about training) I went to the Armitage/Sudgen occassionally, that summer I bought myself materials to build a rack and bought an olymipic weight set with a cheap bench.

So in my second I trained outside (in wind, rain, sleet, hail, occassionally sunshine). Third year I had a massive bedroom and kept it all in there This september I may be in a flat so could prove tricky. But I wouldn't be able to afford a gym membership either!

What about yourself, did you find a decent gym while up here? I know there's the olympic gym and adders, but I don't have my own transport.

Yeah I trained at Adders for my second and third year, didn't do that much training the first year.

Awesome gym, probably the most productive thing I did at uni lol.

Maybe see if you can go to Olympic or Adders once a week, better than nothing, you can get the train to Adders from Picadilly.

Good session. Pleased with the 90kg overhead, 100kg strict is where it's really at though. The single was a tough battle, so I'm going to get some work in now, 5x3 starting at 70kg, maybe less.

On another note, the amount of people who I only see training bench and biceps down the gym is quite scary, if that's what they want fair play though!

Yes mate I was pretty happy with the 90kg overhead. 100kg doesn't seem too far away now (within a year hopefully) which is a long term target... Will be very happy when I reach that.

100kg strict doesn't have the same ring as a 140kg bench but is more impressive IMO, not many people can press 2 plates strict overhead.

I prefer close grip benching tbh, but dips are good and do not require a spotter.

Loving the db skulls, favourite isolation movement, don't seem to be able to go very heavy on them yet, but getting a good ROM and actually feeling the tricep working... Thanks for that exercise, I pinched it from your journal.
