It's odd, it hasn't got me down, it just me annoyed at myself for being so big-headed in the first place! ;-p Still lesson learnt... Body's playing tricks on me as far as monthly goes, it was here, now it's not... Who knows! Weighed in this a.m. whilst I'm NOT on: 9st 2lbs/58.2kgs So have lost 1lb since last Sunday yay! 8lbs to lose in 12 weeks (rough guide obviously - I'll be ready when I'm ready). Today 30mins bike a.m. fuelled by watching NPA DVD; Tri-set Arms tonight with Carl and his friend Kayvan followed by 20mins CV on X-Trainer and Stepper and 2 rounds of posing practise. Now just gotta decide what bikini to wear tomorrow!

Just a quick update - things went well with Karen :-) She was really encouraging and suggested I aim for a qualifier a few weeks earlier as it wouldn't involve travel... That means I have to wait less time for my treat after WOOP! We're gonna move onto carb cycling now to see if things can carry on moving in the right direction; also decided to keep off the Leg training (at least for the next few weeks til I see her again). I am so unbelievable fckuking stoked!!!! For her to be impressed is a really big deal to me because she's such a perfectionist. I'm pretty proud of myself, I know I've only been dieting for 4 weeks, but that's 4 completely clean, hard-worked weeks. I WILL KEEP UP THIS MOMENTUM!

well done flick sounds like its going to plan if your doing a earlier show which one you doing, its good to look back it shows progress i look back sometimes and i think i thought i looked good then and i know i,m getting better surely but slowly. keep up the hard work.

Thanks Helen :-) I managed to download a compatibility pack that now allows me to open any documents :-) Kels - I'll let you know the plan when I see you, send me a PM and let me know what time you're planning to arrive on the Saturday, looking forward to having you! And I won't even wake you at stoopid o'clock to do a.m. CV! Today Carl wrote a cutting plan for his best friend, and we took him shopping to make sure he bought the right things - I'm so proud of him, not many friends would do that, it took him hours as he started out doing all the BMR and macro calcs - I told him not to be too meticulous until said friend could prove he would stick to plan... ;-) I have such faith lol...

So... started my sprint training this a.m. for cardio, did 20mins on the Treadmill in total, 1min running, 2mins walking. The running speed went up from 8.0km/hr to 20km/hr in increments of roughly 1.0km/hr each time. Worked really well actually and finally got HR up! Then did final 10mins on the Stepper. Not bad for fasted cardio! Didn't know I was meant to be having Glutamine after my cardio... Thought I was meant to have it before to protect my muscles! Carb rotation looks like the following: Mon High Tues Med Weds Zero Thurs High Fri Med Sat Zero Sun High High days are pretty much what I've been on all along, and zero days are, well, zero! Will be interesting to see how I get on. Karen's also requested I switch my Weds a.m. cardio to Sat or Sunday a.m., so I'm not having two full rest days, but one. Training Chest in a few hours with Carl

Hey good cardio there! I take glutamine on waking on empty stomach even if on the rare occasion(!) I do cardio first thing. This I think helps with the reducing of lactic-acid? I take glutamine again before bed. I think I have been missing an oppotunity straight after a weights session. Taking it after training will speed up recovery. I'm now going to look into my supplements for a review! Any light shedding on this subject?

carb cycling is great, i really enjoyed that part of my diet, took some real pleasure in measureing everything out for the different days!
