New MuscleTalk TRAINING LOG system: TROG
-

( #1 )
We have developed a new training log system: MuscleTalk TROG Currently in early BETA. What is a TROG? A TROG is a TRaining lOG where, as a registered MuscleTalk member, you can run a log of your goals and progress. It is your TROG of workouts, nutrition plans and general chat about your progress where, if you wish, other members can comment and ask you questions. Alternatively, you can keep it closed to replies and run it solely as your record. Members can start their TROG by clicking here: http://www.muscletalk.co.uk/trog/editprofile.aspx For those of you lurkers that haven't signed up yet, you can signup to MT here: http://www.muscletalk.co.uk/register.aspx Then just visit the TROG link above. To access TROGs click on the TROG tab above or directly here: http://www.muscletalk.co.uk/trog This is very different to running a Progress Journal as the emphasis is on you, the member and the TROG is your log where you have complete control. i.e. you can decide whether or not to allow others to comment and you are even able to delete unwanted replies (of course, a TROG is still subject to moderation by MT moderators just like the forum). We are sure you will enjoy using TROGs and hope it will contribute to your progress, training goals and further enjoyment in the use of MuscleTalk.

You may notice that some TROGs have been running for a few days, as the Mods and a couple of my clients set them up last week to trial the system. Looking forward to you guys getting your training vids and pics up!

AWG I noticed today.....even though you say it's different to a PJ I don't see how it is? Hi AWG You'll see when they get running as to how it's different. A TROG is very much your own log of training and progress and each post is a seperate entry, then others can comment (or not, that's also your choice as you can choose NOT to allow others to comment) about each TROG post. With a PJ it's a continually log running topic (ever noticed that the pages can be slow to load in big journals?) where people comment about the whole thing. TROGs are going to me much more about you the member.

How will I know that someone has posted in my TROG without looking at it?

Whats better a "TROG" or a "progress journal"?

I'm quite liking the look of this. Looks a lot more compact that a Prog Journal. I found I was making increasing large posts about my sessions so I just stopped using it. This may be a good alternative

Getting quite annoyed with this now. Have written it out twice and keep getting an error. Anybody else?

Looks like a cool idea, good work. I haven't made one yet, but just had a quick browse through, looks like it is working better in FF than IE, comments won't show up.

Just started a new routine so I might have a bash at this. Only thing is, I do like my current progress journal and I'm not sure if I can be bothered logging all my lifts twice.
