Agree with above.  Start out light to see what you can handle, and when it gets too easy add a little.  You'll soon start to know what you can and can't handle.

Just remember, good form is important.  Don't sacrifice it for more weight!

As for your set/rep scheme.  What would you like to do?

You can start of with something like 3 sets of 12 or 4 sets of 10 reps, or 3 sets of 15, the list is endless.  It's up to you and what you feel most comfortable.  Choose one you think you'll be ok with and then stick with it for a while.. then try another and eventually you'll have a better idea of what you respond better to.
Massive Range. Big discounts on Fat Burners, Meal Replacement Products and leading products such as Lean Xtreme and Myoplex.

Swimming is the best exercise for women to get in shape.

Swimming is not the best to get a woman into shape. Weight training is. It's the only form of exercise that can physically change the shape of the body. Swimming is a good form of cardio that uses the major muscle groups but if you're like me and don't swim that well it won't do you any good!

lol!!!!

never heard of swimming to get in shape. Well, i mean ive heard of it but no weight training athletes use it to cut fat as there are simply far more effective methods.

Hi!

Great routine there from Liz.
15 reps is high.
You can start with 1 set of each building up to 3.
You could do all 3 sets of each excercise in one go, with rest inbetween, 30 sec - 1min.
Or go thru routine 3 x's circuit stylie, depending on changing plates on DB's for diff excercises I guess.
You just have to play around with weights, but as onefatidiot says start low.
xx
