Ak_88 It would've been an incredibly harsh penalty. Valencia was already on his way down before JT 'fouled' him. That was more clear cut than the free kick Chelsea got for the goal.

jacked_fibres Arsenal can keep it up, they just can't take major injuries, well they can to the midfield because they got loads of class backup there. Exactly, and injuries will occur over the season, i just think when it comes down to the top end of the season if theyre there or there abouts theyre not really used to it and wont be able to take it, may well be proved wrong, and no doubt theyre looking a class act at the moment but dont see it lasting all season tbh

United are good enough and have enough depth to get them past the Spurs, Citys, Villas, Evertons, etc. So they can afford to drop points against LOLerpool and Chelsea because their overall points haul against smaller teams will see them home. Should LOLerpool pull themselves together and stop giving us all our monthly dose of hearty LOLs it would be closer at the top.

makaveli1971 1996 Chelsea can have there 5 point gap there going to need it by the looks of it,they was in the same position last year and everyone was touting the same nonsense, and it all went tits up. And after that performance I have to say I think it will again. Drogba Lampard were pretty much non existent for the 90 mins. And A.Cole lol didn't even figure I find it quite amusing Chelsea have gone down in your estimations because we didn't play as well as we normally do today. The top clashes are never epic games, never will be because noone wants to give anything away. We'll do well because we are winning games that last year we weren't able to break teams down in, whereas United are clearly struggling in front of goal at times. Considering United fans are saying it's a game they can afford to lose they're making a damn big deal about it!

Chelsea had 2 managers last season and scolari was sh*te, I don't think their new manager is amazing, but he seems decent enough. The 2 seasons prior Gus and Grant both got more points than Fergie at the point they took over. Plus United haven't got Ronaldo any more. I reckon it will be Chelsea Arsenal United Pool or City

Ancelotti is going to have to do wonders to close the season out and win the title. And maybe I sound biased but the only other team that can win it is United. Maybe Arsenal will prove us wrong but when it really matters I expect them to start losing games there are expected to win.

Burnley, Birmingham and Sunderland during that time, we had harder games 2 years ago in the last ACN and came out with maximum points. makaveli1971 1996 Ak_88 It would've been an incredibly harsh penalty. Valencia was already on his way down before JT 'fouled' him. That was more clear cut than the free kick Chelsea got for the goal. Clearly not in the eyes of the one man inside Stamford Bridge who matters.

Yeah one more amazing signing for a defender could see them through, upfront they look a little light, but theo and wiltshire could just be brought in and play there, Arsenal make enough chances, so they will put a fair few away. Actually they got loads of cover, you could put Arshavin or Nasri up there as well, they got loads of left wingers.

Ak_88 We can go on this tit for tat bollocks for ages then - Ivanovic shouldn't have been booked for his tackle on Giggs after he clearly got the ball. Completely different situation. The penalty is clear and for all to see, it's on camera from enough angles. A harsh booking is hardly a game changing decision, not awarding a clear penalty is. The ref had a massive helping hand in your result today. It makes sod all difference to the result at the end of the day, but that is exactly what happened. Why you want to argue over the fact you had the majority of the key decisions go in your favour is beyond me. Just be happy that they did!

Arsenal need a new keeper, and another centre half. Probably another defensive minded midfielder as well. You get an injury to Song or one of the centre halves and you might find yourselves struggling a little. Keeper is distinctly average. Going forward, obviously no problems there and plenty of options.

he defo wont sign a new keeper this January, it will be an area that needs improving in the summer, a centre back and i would be happy, Alex song has been excellent this season, IMO our best player so far, and shoved my words back down my throat as 1st 3 quarters of last season i would have given any thing for him to leave the club.

makaveli1971 1996 jacked_fibres one more amazing signing for a defender could see them through FLMAO. Arsenal were better than this a few seasons ago. they got unlucky then really, too many injuries, bad ref decisions and gallas going mental. They're better attacking, their defence is solid as long as there is no injuries, midfield is good attacking but do miss flamini. I'd say they're about the same, if luck goes their way they're potential title winners.

jacked_fibres Mak are you happy with uniteds current wingers?? well im not mak, but personally no not really, nani was always in the shadow of ronaldo and that has affected his improvement imo, giggs cant really paly as an out and out winger anymore, valencia is quite good but doesnt make up for ronaldo at all, however i quite like the look of obertan, think he looks a decent player and park is yet to come back too, however tihnk united need a few signing too and for the newer players to settle in further

Valencia is a good player. He is technically limited but hard working and gets up and down just like Kanchelskis used to. The left side is very weak. Giggs is a 20 games per season player. Obertan looks more like LOLbertan. Nani is garbage. Park tries his best but is not a Man United level player. Ronaldo has left a massive gap, not just on the flanks but as an attacking creative threat against top teams.

Giggs is alright for an hour and against lower down prem teams that sit back. Playing against the top half teams who come to win and play with a fast pace he's out of his depth.

Villa must be knocking on to the 50 mill mark with the current player prices. Villa is unbelievable good, I really hope united don't get him. Aguero is actually really good as well and young, can't see him leaving for anything less than 30 mill. Hopefully chelsea or city snatch them away from you! I think January transfer window is going to be crazy.
