I would almost prefer to go out of Europe all together due to our ever increasing injury list. If we are to challenge for the 3rd or 4th spot then we need to get out players fit. I am not sure if the potential risks of player injury outweighs the rather modest purse which we could pick up should we win it.

i'll take the win, but as it stands, it doesnt mean a great deal!! we have NO creativity in the side at the moment..with no benayoun or riera in the side there is nothingim hoping they and aqua are well and truly on the mend.. i think aqua could provide some much needed creativity in the middle instead of lucas..

gutted! but life goes on..just sums up what we deserve at the moment to be honest.. we havent been good enough..
fair play to the fans who have stayed in the stadium to carry on singing tho..
loads is gonna be said in the papers and on the news etc so im gona stay well away from them.
p1st me off when the commentators were like' is this as good as liverpool are??' like, the way we're playin now.. obviosly it isnt as we are playin at 30% of last seasons performances, with a squad 98% the same as last yr.. does my head in when they use our poor form as an excuse to say that we actually arent that good, when we clearly are, but are clearly goin thru a sh1t patch that we're strugglin to get out of!!

Sad day for lpool fc, but we should be fav's for europa cup or league whatever you call it, few other good teams in it, shaktar are fav's but they havent stuck lpool in yet, id imagine we would be fav's. Need to push on and win it. If i had to guess id say we would be 6/1 to win it. Shaktar are 10/1.

Doubt babels comments would of influenced the team at all tbh mr m mate, but the timing if abit iffy, but hes right, showdown talks in the winter to finally get this on going saga sorted hopefully.

Not a great period for LOLerpool. Without a top 4 finish I can see Torres leaving along with a few others.

LOLerpool faves for the europa league? man your egos know no limits! you will be lucky to make the quarters the way your playing, let alone win!

Are LOLerpool the next Leeds? Could well be if their debt is as bad as the papers go on about. Imagine if they didnt even finish top 6! Would be an amazing season to watch as a non prem fan.

I quite liked Babels press release, has basically sai dthe manager doesnt listen to him. This is a player he signed for nearly 12 mil, and he is ignoring him!??? Can no way see Rafa ending the season as their manager!

Benitez said after the match that he's 100% sure LOLerpool will finish in the top 4.

So if they don't that will be it for him Torres etc.

I think Babel has been treated terribly. Benitez just doesn't want to start him! Id have him up front before Ngog.  I think he looks decent when he comes on as a sub.

The aquilani thing is getting beyond a joke now. He has been in full training for a month now but its still not fit enough to last more than 15 mintes? If that is the case then I would say there is a fundemental flaw with the training routine. Maybe he has been using the default ones from football manager!

I knew that Liverpool werent going to win a thing this season, many disagree as they think the sun shines out of Rafa's ar5e after Istanbul. Either way, IF we did get into the knock out stages then we would be out on the first draw.
By getting into the Europa league (which we will not win either) we have more chances of getting more games in and i can get p1ssed more in the week. Thursdays are also quiz night in my local so its a win win situation! lmao!
 
Oh and my local has started using Italian sky to cut back on the tv costs and its sh1te!!!! Atleast Europa is on 5. Lol

everyone bangs on about the loan repayments, but we dont know more than the owners, and from what they say we are ok..until its proven otherwise there's no point in speculating simply because it's what u want to see happen :-).
anyway, doubt torres would ldeave straight away if we have a sh1te season, or if rafa leaves.. i think he would give it 1 more yr at least..if i was him, i would wanna reach 100 goals for the club and break the current record..

Ice- whether we are faves or not, makes no difference, we started out almost joint 2nd faves for the prem and look at us.. we started out probably 3rd or 4th faves for champs league and we've just been kocked out with 1 game left to play!!! makes no difference buddy..

as for babel.. i do think what he said was bad timing, but yeh i can understand his frustration with rafa of course.. but then to go on and talk about other players, and pretty say how there is a divide in the changing room almost, is f*ckin stuipid!! the papers wil love the fact that there 'might' be a dressing room split especially with the problems on the pitch..
Rafa is constantly quizzed about how the dressing room is, and he is always assuring that the dressing room is together, so for babel to come out with this sh1te is silly..
