Vieira would not do a job with a top 4 team, not good enough anymore.

He'd be good for a young mid table side.

shane- as it stands mate, were not a top 4 side, and to be honest, id have him in there instead of lucas!but suppose aqau will be fit soon to start wk in wk out.. whether he stays fit, we'll see..
but surely viera in the squad is better than lucas in the squad..
and yeh, RVN will score in any league!! top striker!
we just need a winger who can provide.. the only out and out winger we have is riera, and hes injured!

RVN will spend his time injured...

Veira resembles a light weight Lucas these days.

Both perfect signings for Liverpool.

our defensive problems far outweight our need for strikers/wingers currently

Leaking silly goals every game. Even debrechen nearly stole a draw the last night.

ngog is developing nicely always and i want to see this continue.

He could learn alot from RVN though

ha...
thing is, we have danny pacheco in the reserves and he aint gettin any game time, yet Ngog is.. and in all honesty, pacheco is by far the better footballer.. its good t see Ngog score and do alright, but id love t see players like dalla valle , pacheco and ecclestone pushed thru more.. id have pacheco in instead of lucas :-)

This bloke really is a prize bellend and does he really belive he will ever play for england

Burnley right-back Tyrone Mears is waiting to discover if he can play for England following confusion over which country he is eligible to represent.
Mears, 26, who is from Stockport, played for Jamaica against Nigeria in February after wrongly believing his father was from the Caribbean island.
"I don't qualify for Jamaica," he told BBC Radio Lancashire.
"Because it was a friendly I was told it wouldn't count and I didn't think it was a big deal but apparently it is."
He revealed he has sought legal advice to have the cap rescinded after discovering that his father may have come from Sierra Leone although that has not been proven.
"I was registered as a Jamaican player which should not have happened," said Mears.

"I've spoken with lawyers and we've written to Fifa and I think everything's going to be sorted out. At the minute I couldn't play for England.
"I have to send some information to the FA and once they've signed off everything it should be fine, so it should happen in the next few weeks. The main thing is I keep performing with Burnley consistently."
Mears, whose mother is also English, joined Burnley from Derby County for £500,000 in June.
He has gone on to make 13 appearances, the most recent against Aston Villa last Saturday.

What a one sided match so far.

One hit and hope from LOLerpool.

Everton have got no luck at the moment.

There were 3 and now there are 2.

Chelsea far too good for Arsenal.

Arsenal were never really in the race imo anyway.

I think they have proved this today.

Liverpool were dire today, They won't get away with producing that crap week in week out - as they current situation shows.

Arsenal - 1-2% away from dominating the league... and don't you forget it.

I couldnt of given 2 sh1ts who won either of the 3 games. As a neutral i was looking forward to watching 3 entertaining games, this didnt happen.

As with the David Haye fight a few weeks ago, the media built up these games and they failed to deliver. But fair play to the winning teams, they obviously wont care that they werent involved in a classic.

Arsenal need a world class finisher imo, Chelsea are clinical in front of goal, easily the best finishers in the league. Wenger must have some money in the kitty, flog Bendtner to some other muppets and get in a top draw forward!

Liverpool still yet to show they are over their bad spell despite the win.

i agree mate.. i think first and foremost we needed a win, and an away win at everton is always nice for us.. now is the time when the players have t start stepping up and pouttin in some good performances!! hopefully get most / all back from injury and get some continuity in terms of winning results and a settled 'best' starting XI..

on another note- i didnt realise the chelsea game was at arsenal!!for some reason i thought it was at cheslea..
v v good win for them indeed :-)

I agree lpool were poor, everton has lots of chances, but luck finally went our way this time, hopefully this is the turn around now.

No aqualani yesterday either, really confused, he could of easiely been brought on for lucas last 20/30mins, he needs playing time before he starts, doubt pool fans including me are pissed he didnt even play at all.

Good win for chel they are abit stronger than utd, chel should take the league, with 3rd/4th place being a scrap, between pool, arsenal, spurs, city.

I wouldn't say 3rd place will be scrappy considering how Arsenal are playing vs City and Liverpool.

thing is hto, we've been playin horrendous football, yet are still only 3 pts behind spurs, and 2 pts behind arsenal.. thats not to say that things will definately turn around for us now, but considering how poor we have been, its not actually 'that bad'..

and mak- i can confirm that UTD will be second this yr.. 3-0 away at arsenal is pretty impressive!
