Just looked at the table their, mr m makes a good point arsenal are only two points ahead with a game in hand, we can catch them and beat them.

however, at this early stage of the season its impossible to say its anyones title

chelsea lose kalou, drogba, mikel and essien in the new year and while it may only be 4 or 5 games sods law says one of those players will pick up a niggling injury (as people tend to do on international duty) and things will get a lot closer

Chelsea do look very very good at the moment, but still just over a 3rd of the way through the season, way too early to call at the moment, they still have to visit old trafford and anfield, although their games during ACON arent too tricky they still lose a good few quality players.

They've tripped up already against teams such as Wigan, dont think anyone would have expected that, can quite easily happen again.

Agreed they are looking very good and would be my tip for the title too, but bit early to say they will walk it right now

as cappa said- and as i mentioned the other day, we are playing god awful football at the moment, yet we still sit 5th, and are 4th top scorers in the league! its shocking!!
Top 4 is a must, and for that reason i think we may just get there..
i honestly think, if chelsea maintain this form, they'll walk it!
however, they do have away games at our spot and at OT.. could be the turning point in the race..we just have to make sure we turn the losses we have had around in the repeat fixture.. beat villa at villa, spurs at home, etc etc..

that klasic is now looking at movin to the prem in January by all accounts!!
The 3 rich clubs in for him and possibly arsenal, tho i doubt gunners would splash out what CSKA would want for him.. more rumours about chamakh going to them!! i hope he does, cos he looks sh1te..

Believe it or not, up untill this season I actually quite liked them, but since they finished second for some reason their fans think they have a god given right to clas sthemselves as the best, quite similar an attitude to the scum fans I meet.

This is why I now hope they fall flat on their faces.

Pappa, I support Leicester cos im from Leicester, winning or losing has nothing to do with who I support, unlike some.

people always say this about liverpool fans, i have t say, i dont agree at all!!
to go from 4th the yr before, to a v v close 2nd, im sure liverpool fans were alloowed to believe that possibly this yr 'could' have been our yr t finish top.. fair enough, its not gonna happen, ive never met a liverpool fan who says were the best in the world, or the country t be honest.. but last season we were very close to it :-) haha

im a liverpool fan, ive never been convinced we'd win the treble!

i think what 'other' fans seem to do is hear 1 or 2 fans say it, and tarnish the rest of us with the same brush..never met an arrogant pool fan either really!!

Arsenal will cruise 3rd spot, can't believe anyone thinks Liverpool will finish above them.

The Longer Torres is injured, the more likely it is Liverpool will finish outside of the top 4.  They really are a one man team.  Gerrard has nothing on Torres.

Man Utd will still be in for a shout with the title, they will beat everyone that isn't part of the Sky Sports 4, which is enough for them.

Chelsea are looking good, but they won't walk it.  The African Nations won't affect them much though.  Last time out they didn't drop a single point!

Villa will fade away in the second half of the season as they did last year.

Wouldn't like to comment on Spurs.

I think they have 4 games during that period, none of which are against top table opposition also so on paper it shouldnt disrupt them too much

last ACON- they had 8 games and they won 6 and drew 2.. doubt it will affect them much at all, unless somethin seriously wrong happens like the wigan game..

we need nando back, its obvious.. january transfers could be interesting..
a good back up striker brought in could really really help our cause if nando is still struggling!
