My stream was shi* so couldnt see if action was taken but i saw replays and just thought no action was taken, thats ok then, gerrards lucky, he should of been off.

Gerrard is made captain of England for a friendly. In following Premier League games, he gives a ref the V sign and smashes a player across the head with his forearm and no punishment is given. I'm sure there was several dives in there as well. I understand why Terry didn't want to give that armband up. It really does give you a licence to do what ever you want!!

Gerrard should have been banned, simple as.  However the Hull defender actually raised his elbow at Gerrard first, so TBH I think it should be both - Gerrard just raised his elbow above Browns.  Both appalling play and esp Gerrard, being Captain and all.

just saw the gerrad thing on sky sports news

reminds me of sol campbell getting sent off against utd for doing something pretty similar against ole solskjaer - only difference being gerrad had full view of what he was aiming at while sols back was turned as he tried to fend ole off

yet sol got a red and gerrard got nothing

I dont think brown did anything wrong in the way he raised his arm. They raised their arms at the same time really. Gerrard was not reacting to Browns raised arm. He was annoyed at how the player had intentionally blocked him (which was wrong).

I'm not sure - i reckon it was the raised arm - certainly would have angered me when I used to play.

Because the ref gave a free kick for it, so the FA can't deal with it.  If it had of happened outside of the refs view, the FA would have stepped in.  I'm not saying it shouldn't have been a red card, just saying in the rules of the game nothing else can be done really.
 
Also, it couldn't have happended to a dirtier player than Brown lol, he deserved that for all the years of fowling and filthy tackles he dishes out haha.

Now it's looking very bleak for Chelsea winning any majors yet again,if they end up 3rd what a humiliating season it will turn out to be.

Chelsea will win the FA cup, hands down.  Last time I checked that was a major trophy

West ham got off for bad fouls twice. Wolves deserved that win, but it should've been 4-0.

It was a good win for my boys the wolves last night,by far the best performance of the season.we totally out played west ham.hopefully with maybe another win and a few draws it will be enough to avoid relegation.

Well Liverpool will at least get to play in Europa again next year because Villa haven't changed at all from last season - they seem to think the season ends at the start of February.
