Take Torres away and you have no cutting edge whatsoever.

Your previous tactic of trying to bore the opposition into conceding goals doesn't work since your defensive base started to crumble, which makes the reliance on Torres even greater.

It's getting a little boring talking about Liverpool now.  Everyone who isn't a Liverpool fan wants to slag them off, the majority of Liverpool fans blindly defend everything said against them. 

Top 4 is not nailled on for Liverpool this year, like you expect it to be pretty much every other year, due to multiple reasons, including the lack of striking options, deterioration of their previously very solid back line, and the improvement of other teams around them.

i don't think liverpool are a bad side at all, especially when everyone is fit but if anyone should be worried about there top 4 spot it is definately them and not arsenal as everyone was saying. I feel arsenal could beat anyone put in front of them at the minute....not sure what kroenke's up to though.

i know Kronke/the club are buying up properties around the stadium at quite a rate.

Back to talking rubbish most people again...Liverpool are in the ****, Benite spent 230m and were **** blah blah

Do people think this is football manager, how exactly could we have bought 5 world class players with the 190m left after Torres and Massy...we wouldn't have a team would we use your head that would be 7 players! and since we got the money from selling players it makes sense to REPLACE them!

Were proper in the **** in the prem ..I mean our last 6 games results is won 3 Lost 3 = 9..Chelsea won 4 lost 2! = 12 Spurs  Won 2 lost 3 drew 1 = 7..City drew 4, lost 1, won 1 =7, Villa won 1, drew 3, lost 1 = 6.... Liverpool are missing 14 players and were still getting better results than most.  Lyon win or draw with Fior and it comes down to Liverpool needing to win by 2/3 goals...the games 5 weeks away we'll have ALL our players back by then we can still qualify.  The prem is gone but we'll still finish top 4.

Benitez has done a poor job, Liverpool are no further than they were when he took over.

If he had been given 230 million off the cuff like man city currently have then yes we could have but he didn’t so he has had to buy and sell, incremental improvement.

In the same period United (who already had a multi title winning squad who they had spent millions on already) spent 150 million pounds (convert that to euro yourselves not including the cost of loan deals like tevez or undisclosed fee's)

So rafa spent 230 million euro updating a team who had only won a handful of cups in the previous decade (the best of which is the uefa cup which is a fair big step below the EPL or the ECL or even the FA cup maybe ) and fergie spent 150 million pounds (updating a squad that had 7 or 8 EPL+ 1 ECL + numerous domestic cups in the previous 10 years)



And as an extra lol spurs spent 270 million pounds (pounds, not euro) in the same time frame
