The EPL is far stronger throughout.

Thats why we had 3 english teams in the semi finals  of the UCL for the last 2 seasons and had an all english final the year before last.

EPL is strong but not as good quality as La Liga. This is underlined by 7 out of the top 10 players in the world playing in La Liga and Spain being the best team in Europe.

I'm sure the vast difference in tax laws have something to say about the majority of the 'best' players playing in La Liga.

I guess the Ligue 1 was the best in the world in 98,the greek in 2004 etc lol.

Gonna have to agree with Mak. When Uefa get worried because of EPL teams are dominating the Champions league instead of other European teams you have to admit the EPL is the best.

However some would claim the spanish league is more entertaining.

Barca failed to beat Chelsea last year though Integra and were very fortunate to get a draw at that.

Infact - Barca have failed to beat Chelsea in numerous recent meetings when we've had 11 men on the pitch.

Chelsea
Arsenal
Liverpool
Manchester United
Man City
Tottenham
 
Primera best six teams:
 
Barcelona
Real Madrid
Valencia
Atletico Madrid
Sevilla
Deportivo
 
 
IMO any of Chelsea, Arsenal, Man United and Liverpool could win the Champions League.  Where as only Barcelona or Real Madrid could win it from Spain.
 
That leaves Man City and Spurs along with Valencia, Atletico, Sevilla and Deportivo who are all about the same quality, however Man City, Valencia and Atletico are the top three out of that group.
