Integra spencerslide Integra makaveli1971 1996 Chelsea showed why they needed that win more than United. Better side lost, and even my friend a Chelsea supporter admitted that. LOL! the better team did lose mate but we've done it ourselves to other clubs for years-----and Drogba was offside at the goalmouth in an active postition. Chelsea were the better team today actually. United had a lot of possession at the back end of midfield but could not use the ball effectively. They didnt come close to scoring a goal either and never looked like winning. And Chelsea did? they scored but that was it really (all that counts in the end though)

It was clear to for all to see United were the better side and very unfortuante to lose. I know this because the most biased Chelsea fan just told me. Will move on and come back stronger.

naththebeast jacked_fibres Glad man utd won, they've been scrapping victories against crap teams, good to see them losing to good teams. I think man utd will do crap over xmas. It goes to show that united attackingly was always a 1 man team and he's now gone. Man United are in exactly the same position as they were last season when they did have ronaldo, they never start well, pretty stupid comment really theyre 5points off? beat chelsea at old trafford (which on todays evidence they could do) and is only 2 points hardly a disaster. United deserved to win and it wasnt a free-kick but at the end of the day they didnt put the ball in the net so nothing else matters really Yeah but they haven't played consistently good all season, they've been playing crap and getting wins. I think they will finish 3rd, the african nations may mess it up for chelsea and I think Arsenal have got a chance they've got so many great strikers and midfielders.

Just like in your opinion that Man Utd played better than Barca in champs league final and deserved to win! They did they absolutely pissed all over them for the 90 minutes and lost. ROFL!!! Good one! lol Barca clearly deserved there win against United,Chelsea today did not. Looked very average.

Too much is being made of the ACN - we've got Burnley, Birmingham and Sunderland in the games that our Africans will be away for.

I dont disagree here mate, just dont agree with the point of a 1man side, theyre not playing well no, but in the end they will and wont be that far off the top in the end, id say 2nd, Arsenal are looking good at moment but dont think they can keep it up

Ref was abysmal. Man Utd should have had a clear penalty. Terry rugby tackled Valencia. The free kick Chelsea scored from was never a free kick, not in a million years. Neither side looked like scoring from open play, and had the ref not got those two decisions wrong Man Utd would have won that. On the bright side, I have Cech and Cashley in my dream team so plenty of points.

Not really, they scored, granted, however didnt really create any opportunites apart from the ANelka one, just dordeld around the area with it not getting anywhere, United didnt do a lot more but had a few attempts. As ive also said doesnt matter in the end, chelsea scored united didnt all that counts really

It would've been an incredibly harsh penalty. Valencia was already on his way down before JT 'fouled' him.

Arsenal can keep it up, they just can't take major injuries, well they can to the midfield because they got loads of class backup there.

How many fouls does Fletcher commit every game?? Doesnt matter if the best team won or not, Chelsea took 3 points and Man Utd got fcuk all. Poor squad cost them, Carrick, Anderson and Valencia all not good enough against decent opposition, great against Birmingham though!

Chelsea can have there 5 point gap there going to need it by the looks of it,they was in the same position last year and everyone was touting the same nonsense, and it all went tits up. And after that performance I have to say I think it will again. Drogba Lampard were pretty much non existent for the 90 mins. And A.Cole lol didn't even figure
