Terrible really 20+ chances and 2 goals, one being a cheated peno.  Not good enough.

johnson was great tonight.. kuyt on the other hand was f*ckin woeful!!! the guy is a joke

TBH its clear to everyone that Pool need better forwards.  Why arent we doing anything about this?

Mcgeady, yes, went down easily in the middle of the park (it was not in the penalty area) after riding two challenges.  It wasn't in an attempt to attain a goal scoring opportunity, it was a player running out  of steam.  Nobody really bangs on about it when the talk about McGeady.  However, Eduardo will be known in the football world as a dirty cheat for the rest of his career.  Just my opinion.

3rd is still pretty good though!

Think it's you that needs to keep dreaming mate, we will finish higher than third this season I am confident of that. After 12 games we have already been to Lolerpool, Chelsea, Spurs, Stoke, Burnley and Wigan; none of which are easy games (we lost 3 of course   and have also played (and beaten) Arsenal and Man City at OT. All in all hardly a disaster in a season where I expect all teams to lose at least 5 or 6 games minimum. A 5 point gap is hardly conclusive at this stage and with Chelsea and Arsenal due to meet next that gap may well be less in a couple of weeks.
 
With regard to the midfield Fletcher Carrick and Anderson are a very decent trio. Carrick is a proven Premiership performer over several seasons, Fletcher has improved beyond belief over the last couple of seasons and is IMO one of the most influential midfield players in the Prem nowadays and Anderson is finding his form again now. I well remember Gerrard in his pocket at Anfield a couple of seasons ago.
 
All in all I am sure we will be up there come May

AS for breaking his leg, are you not the one nearly passed out laughing at as he was disgusted by my comments and then made the same one about a Man Utd player?  I could search but I can't be arsed.

In all honesty you shouldn't get rid of him this season as mentioned above. There's not many decent managers out there at the moment.
