Papa Lazarou Wasn't the end part of Utd's season made up of last minute equalizers and winners too? ah papa leave the child alone. Children can be reasoned with like that!

galenkia john_cappa I know galenkia it’s the same for me, you need to edit the actual thread title in the address bar to view the last page sometimes. Change the page number (for example P447 to P448) in the address bar. This page is visible now.I could see that people had posted but could not go past page 446. Cheers for that advice mate. Took me a while to figure it out! I think the thread has overloaded teh internet!!!!

At the end of the day Cappa, Rafa is a football manager not a businessman. I don't care how much he has brought back to the club and how shrewd his business decisions are. Here's a fact for you... Ronaldo bought for £12 million, sold for £80 million.

It's not a manager's job to balance the books, that's the owner's job.At the end of the day for every top player Rafa has signed he has signed 3 or 4 poor ones.Liverpool have way too many average quality players and this season's reult's have shown that. It don't matter how much he has raised,he has still spent over £200m with not a great deal to show for it. All IMO of course.

CalderaVII At the end of the day Cappa, Rafa is a football manager not a businessman. I don't care how much he has brought back to the club and how shrewd his business decisions are. Im not trying to make out like he is. I am simply going against the myths that are constantly thrown at rafa (like the rotation one even though there were stats at the time to show he make less changes than fergie, wenger etc) Are you so stupid you cant see my point? if you are so intellectually challenged that you cant see my point? There is little point engaging with any posts of your again. CalderaVII Ronaldo bought for £12 million, sold for £80 million. You keep bringing up this? what has this got to do with rafa? see point above about being intellectually challenged My point is that rafa spent net 15 million per year. That it! He made far more for the club in europe alone over the last 5 years. You say it net doesnt matter!!!! its all about gross figures. etc etc It does matter. Net spend/profit is the most important thing

Fergie spent 150 million is the same period updating a sqaud an already had an excellent squad! The squad already had several 30 million pound players. Do you think its that easy to overtake united like that? Chelsea spent 500 million doing it and still lost the league for the last 3 years. you are all ignoring certain facts to serve your own agendas, simple as that

john_cappa Net spend/profit is the most important thing Ah right I see, I always thought winning football games was. Mind you, I suppose with this outlook it softens the blow on LOLerpool's abysmal form.

More than aware of our short comings Simply trying to demonstrate that we have made decent progress and our spend has not been insane by any means. When rafa took over we had finished 30 points off the top the year before. Have people forgotten how bad we were??? lol

Polite chiuckle at LOLerpool fans getting hot under the collar. Remember the crowing from the fans last year when LOLerpool were leading the EPL? How the mighty have fallen. Rafa is a decent manager but he has tried and failed. Time to let someone else have a go.

john_cappa When rafa took over we had finished 30 points off the top the year before. Have people forgotten how bad we were??? lol Less than a 3rd of the season gone and you are 11 points off. Pretty much the same as when he took over. Only back in the day you were less of a two man band. Last seasons excuses (Torres/Gerrard fit we would have won the league, etc etc etzzzz) and what happens? LOLerpool lose 3 of the first 8 matches with both Torres and Gerrard in the team. Never mind, next year will be your year.....again.

john_cappa Net spend/profit is the most important thing Net spending means nothing.Trophy's mean everything. How did Blackburn win the prem?.By Jack Walker spending more money than everyone else. These days you need to invest heavily to succeed. And you need to spend that money wisely.Which Rafa has not in most cases.
