Was so happy Ashbee our captain got man of the match though after captaining us in all four divisions must be a special time for him ! Don't see enough players rising through the leagues anymore sadly.

mr hull fan - question - dont you think this is going to make other teams sit up and take notice of hull - therefore making it harder for them to repeat such a success?

Spirit Guide mr hull fan - question - dont you think this is going to make other teams sit up and take notice of hull - therefore making it harder for them to repeat such a success? Yeah, it's not a bad point but I still think if we play as well as we can then we will compete. Arsenal played more or less their best side yesterday and we stood up pretty well. So maybe teams may not play weaker sides but I still think we will surprise a few other teams

No offence well done hull, but i doubt they will beat utd, chelsea, lpool or arsenal again in the prem, as said of above becasue all teams will take notice now after a superb victory over arsenal which i thoroughly enjoyed :)

To Gunners fans... How many of the Arsenal regulars (if any) do you think will get dropped after that result? Id be well tempted to bring some of them new young lads in if i was Wenger.

i would like to see rvp rested, and eboue either played right sided where he had done really well in previous games, or dropped for nasri/wilshere hes defo not a wide left player apart from that, i would stay as we are.

Vela alongside Adebayor could be interesting. I dont think Theo will ever be a top centre forward.

i would like to see him get a run of games up front for us as he is slowly getting better at under standing where the space is, just his first touch and decision making letting him down, some times it looks like as soon as he gets it he panics.

I think it'll take an injury to someone for Vela to become a regular starter, for now...

vela looks quality weather he will break into the side as a regular this season is doubtful, but should defo try and get him as much game time as we can to build up his experiance, cant wait till we get diaby back to partner him in centre mid with cesc,

imo vela's hat-trick midweek reeked of natural instinctive goalscoring he will get a chance sooner than you think as he has been playing first team football on loan for 2 years

vela bendtner can be clumsy and tends to hold on to the ball for too long theo doesnt get enough end product to many of his runs gotta be adebayor as the target man with vela running off him

Scoring 3 against sheff utd is impressive and quality goals, a start in the making left the sheff utd defence for dead. And sheff utd arent a **** team either. Bentner is a hit and miss but scores quite a few, theo seems quite solid now, how about theo and vela in given a good run although vela prob wont unless theres injuries.

Bendtner will never be a first choice striker for a Premier League winning team.

Tough game for arsenal i expect sunderland to give arsenal a run for there money 2moro, but i expect an arsenal draw anything else is a bad result for them. Utd will prob topple b'burn comfortably. Tough game for chelsea, villa could get a draw. Tough game for lpool also but i expect 3 points, a draw would be a draw back, we defo better not lose lol Spurs to get there first win!

yeah wil be a tough game in theory for us at city but we are playin v wel at the mo.. fingers crossed anyway!! a draw aint the end of the world but that would make 3 draws in our 1st 7 games.. we need 3 pts from this really!! could do wi villa and chelsea drawin!! if we won we would go clear top! plus villa right behind us so need some breathin distance!

I think it'll be a draw for us against Villa. They've given us big problems the last few years and thats not aided by our injuries. I'd be over the moon with a win but i think a draw is the likely outcome.

City are playing pretty badly but there is always the danger of Rafa tinkering too much after a CL game and also the possibility that city will click as a unit as they did against Portsmouth. 3 points to Liverpool if they play a strong side IMO.

he is bringong back macherano into the side so that means the midfield changing totally to accomadate Chelsea are in serious injury trouble monster, bit early in season to be worrying about breathing space, or other teams results, dont want to go clear at the top now and then fade, just need to keep in touch with the leading pack

yeah he rested masch for the game tomorro which would prob mean that xabi may be benched or may play with 3 up top in Sg, keane and nando.. u n ever know!! but read an interview wi rafa the other day and he said, ' we are on fire..' ' i dont want to change the team..'.. so hopefully not too many changes will be made!! i agree with integra.. if we get it right i think we will do it, but if we mess wi things a little too much and city really click it could be a blue win!! on another note for the reds fans.. have t say im pretty happy so far wi riera! definately looks t be fittin in very nicely!! also, read today R.Madrid will def be makin a bid for Agger in jan. he's their top target!! hope he doesnt go.. seriously think he has world class capabilities!!

I find it hard to believe Benitez would pick 3 up front at the COMS with City usually playing 5 across the middle. Still, you never know he might actually start picking his best team on a regular basis.

Yeah i read about agger this morning too and was ****tin them casue hes a world class player, better than skrtel in my books. But rafa this afternoon dismissed reports of an agger move and said hes not for sale, can let a player like that go, but then again he shouldnt be on the bench. Yeah i saw that interview too, Rafa also said the other day that hes going to start babel in games instead of using him as a super sub.
