no atmosphere inside the stadium today, typical home game if we have not scored in the 1st 20mins the whole place goes flat.

villa dominated us 1st half, some nice alumina saves including a pen,

2nd half we had a lot of the ball, but created nothing at all

how gabby ag is allowed to score a header with out even jumping for the ball is beynond me.

something needs 2 be done and soon to make sure we dont face a battle to keep hold of our champions league placing

would like to see djourou come in at centre back, possibly next to toure, and denilson and fab obviously aint working in the centre of the park, diaby and cesc would be my 1st choice, sign a striker in jan huntellar(please santa) would do as bentdner was awful today.

we will out play any 1 as proven v man utd last weekend, but at the moment when teams are defedning deep and pulling a lot behind the ball we are finding it hard to break them down.

Chelsea & Liverpool should both pick up 3 points, Arsenal could fall further back too if Man City stick the boot in.

Lpool really arent performing, babel seems a worse player everytime i see him play, i was very disappointed with him against spurs and he was poor when he came on today.

Rafa took Riera off for babel who was apparantly playing well, bad decision imo. He never plays them both which i think is a joke.

I would be pissed if chelsea won, but they didnt but im still abit p'ed off, is was a good opportunity to go clear.

Lets hope utd dont pick up 3 points anyway, should be a good game :)

arsenals problems are not necessarily because of whats taking place on the pitch

ever since david dein left arsene has been doing 2 jobs

he needs to fill the david dein position quickly so he can get back to concentrating totally 100% on footballing matters rather than business matters

until that happens i am afraid he is going to take his eye off the ball which will allow things like gallas's petulence to steadily grow until we get one of these outbursts again from some other player

so arsene, if you're reading, bring david dein back, sign gareth barry, sell gallas and replace him with a central defender who doesnt worry about breaking a nail and we will be golden

With the current defensive crisis at Arsenal, I would be tempted to recall Big Phil S from Ac Milan,

why wilshere was not given a chance yesterday i do not know and ramsey.

I remember the days of watching Brooking play and I very rarely heard any fans giving him stick.  And I only see him retaliate once.  Could you ever imagine him sticking a finger up to the crowd.

Papers are reporting a January transfer bid for Matthew Upson.

Would be a decent signing to give the defense a bit of presence at set pieces at least.

And west ham will probably let him go for nothing.  could never watch them anymore.

i would take Upson at the moment, as i cant really think of any centre backs of good quality that would be available in January, maybe Mertezacker or radoi, both lack pace tho.

every 1 seems to be blaiming gallas at the moment, but he only stated the obvious, hopefully he gets back in line as we need him at the moment
clichy needs to up his game as well, his errors have led to a fair few goals agaisnt us lately.

a friend of mine who was at the game yesterday said, during a corner when we were 2-0 down, denilson and song were chatting 2 each other and laughing and joking, disgusting.

Thats one of the risks of building a very young team I guess.
