Had a good cardio session today.
25 mins on bike
20 mins on treadmill
20 mins on crosstrainer
No resting between devices except the time it takes me to cross the gym.
I mix it up to decrease boredom.
Heart-rate was 110-130 throughout and averaged 120bpm so I guess I am bang on.
Had a weird conversation with a girl at the counter of the gym.
She said I looked tired and I said 'yeah, doing a keto diet' and without asking if I wanted her opinion started in on why she though it was a bad idea, she had done it and it ended up making her cry & I should work out more (what more than 6 days a week?) and more intensely (I've seen her on the treadmill, she takes it much easier than I do).
Rather than debate it with her I just turned away without saying anything and walked away.
She still finished her sentence as I was going around the corner and down the stairs not realising I had left.
Obviously her mouth, eyes and brain are all connected but only one of them can work at once.
Probably not the best reaction but better than getting into an argument.
Throughout my workout I was replaying the conversation in my head until I realised I don't have to justify what I am doing with my own body to anyone else.
If, for some reason, this doesn't work for me then I will change it up but for now I feel great and it seems to be doing something for me so I am just peachy.
