Not a great one today, head wasn't really there but probably to be expected with the amount of uni work I'm doing at the moment. Brain is totally friend and going straight from the exam hall upstairs to the gym the floor below to deadlift didn't help. 15/01/10 Deadlift- 60/6, 100/6, 140/4, 180/2, 220/1, 260/1/1/1 Quite pissed off at this, felt like I had nothing above the knee. Suit bottoms for 180kg, straps up from 220kg. 15" Deadlift- 200/3, 270/1, 280/1, 300/f All clean lifts, sat into the 300kg to ramp it, but dunno what happen and I didn't even try to ramp. Proved that grip is solid though by using a thicker bar with almost no knurling. Box Squat, 12" box- 70/3, 100/3, 140/2/3/3/2/2/3 Machine Row- 80/10, 100/10, 120/10, 150/6, 100/15 Pulldowns- 60/10, 80/10, 100/10 Straight Arm Pressdowns- 21/10, 28/10, 31/10, 38/10 Face Pulls- Loads of sets at 24kg for 10reps Hamstring Curls- 70/10, 80/10, 90/10, 100/10 Finished off with cross body hammer curls, single arm 16kg for 3sets of 15.

Alright one today, happy enough with everything. 17/01/10 Log Press- 50/6, 70/3, 100/3, 120/2, 140/2 (from floor) PB, 150/1 PB, 155/f Farmers- 70/20m, 100/20m, 120/20m, 140/20m followed by 100kg keg for 40m Yoke- 70/20m, 150/20m, 230/20m, 310/20m, 350/10m, 410/10m Stones- from 80kg upto 160kg, then missed the 187kg 3times. Had it up and almost at knees then just as I transfered to the knees tacky was all coming off.

Alright one today, was straight from an exam to the gym, so didn't do the usual heavy jerks and kept it to me BB stuff, still some good work though. 19/01/10 Bench- 60/6, 100/4, 120/2, 140/1, 150/1 PB, 120/8 PB Happy with that, definetly more there with the right head on. Incline DB Press- 35/8, 40/6, 50/3, 40/8 Seated BB Press- 60/6, 80/4, 90/3, 70/9 After Arnold's going to prioritise this and use jerk as an accessory, fed up of this being so weak. Snatch- 50/3, 60/3, 80/2, 90/1 Face Pulls- 8sets of 10reps with 25kg Finished off some machine shoulder press and then a few lateral raises and front raises.

Quality one today, upped the workload from last week so happy with how things went. 20/01/10 Squat- 60/6, 100/4, 140/3, 180/2, 220/2, 260/1/2, 180/6 USed some powerpants this week instead of the suit, but got nothing at all from them. Wraps on for the 220kg and 260kg sets, 260k sets weren't too much of a struggle and felt comfy. Karlsen Squat- 100/6, 140/6, 180/6, 220/6, 260/6 Leg Press- 140/6, 220/6, 300/6, 340/6 Finished with some leg extensions.

No belt on any of the sets. Speed Deadlift- 120/3, 170/3/3/3/3/3 Box Squat, ~12"- 70/3, 100/3, 130/3, 160/3, 180/2 PB, 200/2 PB Happy with these, no belt on anything and speed was nice. Quality one today, really pleased with how things are progressing along. 26/01/10 Jerk from Rack- 60/3/2, 100/4, 130/2, 150/2, 155/2 PB The original plan was 157.5kg, but the 150k felt really slow. 155k for a single was a PB far less the double, got to be good for close to 170kg now! Axle from Floor- 80/8, 90/8, 100/8 Decided to do this for a while to help improve conditioning and also pressing endurance. 80 and 90kg sets were all one motions. Seated DBs- 30/8, 40/8/8/8 Felt really easy today, need to up the weight I reckon. Hang Clean- 60/6, 80/4, 100/3, 115/3 PB, 125/3 PB, 135/f Finished with some lat raise and rear delts.

Not too bad today, happy enough with how things went considering I hadn't eaten much beforehand. Assistance stuff was just what my brother told me to do since I wasn't at Dumbarton today. 27/01/10 Squats- 60/6, 100/6, 140/4, 180/3, 220/3, 260/3 PB, 180/12 PB Wraps on for the 220 and 260kg sets. The 180kg for 12 was belt only. Pause Squats- 80/5, 100/5, 110/5, 120/5, 140/5 Finished with 6sets of pull throughs and then some leg extensions.

Good and bad today. Next 3weeks is just events stuff for Arnold's so today was log. Had a proper IFSA spec one made over the weekend so had a new toy to play with. Only problem was that we're were still too tired after the Qualifier on Saturday to put in any good work. Also, calf was still playing up a bit so saw the physio who has confirmed I've torn fibres in the calf. Caught it early though so should hopefully heal quite fast with lots of rebah treatment. 09/02/10 IFSA Log Press- 60/3/3/3/3, 90/4, 120/2, 143/f/f/f, 110/6/4 All reps from the floor. The 143k was tough, 1st set couldn't even clean it, got it cleaned the 2nd set and then got a bit of a press, but nowhere near on the 3rd.
