lol, no leggings for me.  I just wear my gym wear and socks because most of the time i'm heading straight to the gym from the ballet class.

After warmup, we do alot of foot positioning routines on the bar. Different arm positions. Then in the center we work on alot of transitions, jumps, spins, balance etc. Everything is done to music so like you said, it teaches timing, rhythm and balance needed for a good bodybuilding routine. And now that the show is near we are putting together a routine.

I highly recommend ballet classes, dance instructor or a choreographer for anyone doing bodybuilding. I'm sure you are a good poser but it will help you even more.

I decided to get rid of squats as my main compound movement for legs. I will be doing heavy frontsquats instead because i can back squat 260kg for reps and it doesnt show on my legs. It also hurts my hips and lower back and i dont feel any soreness on my quads.

So i will be doing heavy front squats and legpresses then high reps on hacksquats or squats supersetted with leg extensions.

I came third in the intermediates over 90kg class. I am pleased with the results and i will be using this momentum to get ready for the SE qualifier on May 13th 2012. I will try to update my progress on this site.
