      Nice weight increase following the skipload bud! My weight went up by 1kg & I woke up feeling & looking tighter which was nice. Shall see how the weight goes this week before increasing / decreasing the length of the load depending on when the baseline hits. I'm really surprised at this given that I'm on higher carbs during the week (all consumed in the evening) than I was last time I was skiploading. Interesting stuff!

        Nice weight increase following the skipload bud! My weight went up by 1kg & I woke up feeling & looking tighter which was nice. Shall see how the weight goes this week before increasing / decreasing the length of the load depending on when the baseline hits.         Depends hows sesitive to carbs you are i guess mate, alot of trainers on off season skiploads eat higher carbs in the week, i'm not very carb tolerant it would appear and a daily intake of sub 70- 100g is about right for me.
        Lets see when baseline hits this week, not sure with me, i'd imagine thursday.

            Skiploading works well for me mate, keeps me lean while allowing me to eat pancakes and maple syrup lol!

                  Well that slingshot contraption works! My delts and triceps feel more worked i think than ever before!
                   
                  Really think this will help my lockout problems, my first goal now is a 250lb axle fltoh  with a view of getting that up to 300lb asap! The key is nailing the split jerk, continental clean and blitzing my lockout, give it 12 months it'll be there.

                      It is mate, especially with an axle due to its size, definately will be a split jerk i think!
                       
                      Its a case of getting the continental clean done right, the putting alot of leg drive/explosion into the jerk and being able to lock it out. I think 250lbs will go soon, 300lb by this time next year i reckon!

                            Sounds all good with the load, 6 hours it is then if you've almost baselined.... I know your competing in SM this year but are you going to dial right in for the summer or just see where it all takes you?

                                Sounds all good with the load, 6 hours it is then if you've almost baselined.... I know your competing in SM this year but are you going to dial right in for the summer or just see where it all takes you?


                                Might do mate, may just cram more in in 5 hours instead, could have done more last saturday, was just being careful.
                                 
                                Not dialing right in for the summer mate, i have at least 1 maybe up to 3 comps i'm up for so can't compromise strength. I will continue trying to recomp for the time being and see what happens towards the end of the year. Playing it by ear a bit, wanting to remain lean or even leaner than i currently am but want my lifts to be crazy weight wise!!

                                    Good session, back and hamstrings in particular feeling it now. Nice easy week, should build nicely and confident of beating my 255kg pb in the 10 weeks.
                                     
                                    Friday is week 8 of my phillipi squatv routine with a 95% desired max effort - 190kg x 2 is needed.
