they,ve brought in these vibrating things into my gym, powerplates, aparently 15 mins on them gives you a whole body workout, can help you during cuting cycle and increase strength.

has anyone ever used one of these and is it worth the extra £5 a month?

It won't really offer anything to a genuine strength or building routine. However, they can be useful for massaging out and stretching afterwards.... but for a £5er a month, that's a bit off, they should just let you use them anyway.

Hell, give it a go just to see but no, I wouldn't bother.

Yeah my gym (at least until I move next month) has loads of these things.  Complete load of sh1te, generally used by fatties who think a few minutes sitting on one of these things whilst reading a book will magically shift their beer bellies / bingo wings.

Agree with JimXVX, got a few in our gym and they look useless for anything other than massage.

              £5 a month! Having a laugh

Good for an experiment I reckon, but in all honestly, the only people I EVER see use these are the very large members of the gym looking for the easiest 'I did a full body workout so therefore I can have 2 cakes and 9 doughnuts' guilt removal for themselves.

Just go for a run, then do 15 minutes after to see if it has any extra effect.

I tried it in Malta because it was there and it was free. Tried doing a blank on it but the vibrations were grinding my teeth, felt weird lol.

Didn't get that promised 6 pack within 15 minutes
