Also worth considering is the fact that Malignaggi will be the best fighter Khan has faced. Malignaggi has a pretty solid chin so there will be no early KO for Khan.
 
I do think Khan will win by decision in the end, but may well get put on his arse at some point.
 
 
 
 

Roach may have not developed Khans chin. But that couold develop through maturity. Khans latest fights have suggested he has developed into a better fighter, much stronger and his defence is neat. With the combonation of these and speed Khan has a very good chance.

I do believe this is going to be a good fight tho.

You cant make someone's 'chin' stronger... Theres no real way to train for getting knocked out.
The defence he has against the weak point is the difference. Malignagi may not get a good dig on Khan at all. I think Khan will come out all guns blazing and Malignagi will be more concerned at not gettin caught himself, rather than trying to drop Khan.
Ill check the odds on the first 3 rounds for Khan to ko Malignagi closer to the time. I dont think it will happen but there is a small chance and its the only bet worth looking at imo.
I nearly put money on Pacman to do Hatton early as it was 33-1 for rounds 1 or 2. I would never have expected it so early but the good odds made me consider it. My liking of Hatton got the better of me and i spread bets both ways after 6 rounds...

I've said it before but I  just can't see Khan struggling with Mallignaggi....I'm no expert but I can't see paulie troubling Khan. I wouldn't mind if he did caase I'd have liked to see Khan fight a big puncher instead of Paulie who by his own admission was born with brittle hands, he has broken them many times in the ring and had surgery about 5 times on them, he just can't punch hard for this reason...hence his KO record where iirc he has 3 but all in his first few fights.

Like you say mate, if Khan gets KO'd, its career ending. To be fair if Malignagi even drops him at all, Khan needs to re-adjust to fighting complete bums as a decent puncher will then dstroy him.

Paulies a genuine 140 with a very good chin and lots of experience. Tough fight for Khan and I think paulie could realy fancy the fight after 3 rounds and seeing what Khan has to offer.

The longer the fight goes the more it swings in favour of paulie and a late tko or points win would be my pic.

Khan being a massive FAV to win this fight must be based on what potential many think he may have, but nothing in his record shows evidence to back up the huge prices being offered on Paulie.

I should point out that although I think Khan will easily win this, it's purely because I don't think Mallignaggi is all that good.

Nice to watch on occasions but he looked sh1t against N'dou and Hatton....ok, there can be arguements as to why he looked sh1t (the dreadlock cutting sage for instance) but I just see Khan as too big, too strong and too quick and even if Paulie lands one of his crippled hands on Khans dodgy chin, I can't see him getting Ko'd

I agree Khan should win and is rightly the favourite.

However, i would like to ask 1 question to those who think this is an easy night for Khan.

Does Paulie M hit as hard or harder than Willie Limond?

Because if he does what do you think is going to happen?

This fight could and should be an easy night for Khan but I believe Paulie can hurt Khan therefore represents some risk.

Paulie has damaged hands, thats why he does not set his feet and bang away, plus he is more of a boxer. If he sets his feet and lands a fast, sharp shot with intent behind it and Khan does not see it coming, he is on his ar$e.
