    What?

    Seriously, what?

If you want to lose weight, eat in a calorie deficit. If you want to put weight on, eat a calorie surplus. Thats the easiest part.

    Your training sounds proper nugget.

Why the sarcasm? I am eating less calories and high protein and I don't eat carbs past 4 the only carbs I have are from brown rice or brown bread. Is this a good pha workout?

Nugget means poo, a little nugget of poo!

You need to give us more details really.

You need to understand what you put in your body and why. Also, you need to work out the total daily calories, and the macro break down (Protein, carbs and fats)

It sounds like a pain in the arse, but it really will help your results and make things easier.

I would suggest eating protein and good fats with every meal and just have my carbs around the workout window. This would be a good start.

P.S It's a myth that eating carbs past a certain hour is bad for you.

Your body doesn't have a little alarm clock inside that makes carbs bad for you past a certain time.

Ok thanks for the advice I'll start trying to keep a diary off the food I'm eating. What workouts would youvsuggest best for getting toned and losing weight once my diet is right ?

This is the workout I do 3 times a week for 8 weeks

                    20 mins bike
(resistance up every 2 mins tell I get to 12 mins then come back down)

                    Squats
                    Incline flys
2.5 mins running machine (start with incline on 10 and fast walk, then every 30 secs incline down speed up last 30 secs sprinting)

                    Shoulder press
                    Lunges
                    Reverse delt row
                    2.5 mins runner

Look around your local area and see if any MST courses are running (Modified Strongman Training) as these will help.

Look into German Body Comp training too (GBC) which is heavy weights with medium to higher reps, short rest intervals between each set (30 to 60 seconds max).

I love this kind of training.
