17 minutes is a long time to have a police car behind you, lights flashing, siren going.

as a copper you would assume not wanting to stop means he had something to hide, something in the car wouldnt you think?

      i would.

when the police ask you to stop and pull over you should, its not hard!

according to the news story he drove at the speed limit and said he didnt know they were trying to get him to stop - he says when he saw the officer in front asking him to stop he complied

If you dont understand you should pull over if you see a police car with lights and siren following you for longer than a minute or so then realy you should not be on the road.

If you then stop and wont open your door then they realy are taking the pis* and deserve all you get IMO.

          17 minutes in a 30 zone is over 8 miles or 16 miles in a 60 zone.

If he was genuinly confused and did not understand and locked his door due to this confusion is he maybe too old to be on the road at 71?
Life is not about the chapters....Its about the book.
