Hey guys,
I don't normally venture into this forum, didn't really plan on using gear at any point in time. Here's my story anyway:
6 months ago I came down with Guillain–Barré syndrome (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guillain%E2%80%93Barr%C3%A9_syndrome)
Basically after having an infection (cold, flu etc) the immune system goes haywire, and it mistakes the coating around the nerves (myelin) as a foreign body, it then starts to attack this coating. So within the space of 4 hours I went from walking, to not being able to stand, and being in tremendous pain (yes it was very exciting). Before all this happened, I was training 6 days a week (3 days weights, 3 days cardio).
Since then I've lost about 10kg (1.5 stone), so my doctor has prescribed me Deca-Durabolin to try and maintain some of the strength that I still have. The dosage I've been given is 50mg/mL, 1ml every 2 weeks.
So all I want to know is: will I notice any significant changes with this dosage? Do I have to up my calorie intake significantly to take advantage of it? I'll be honest, my confidence is crushed everytime I see the shape my body is in at the moment, and I would do almost anything to look halfway decent again.
Thanks for any help.
