Worth checking out Blackburn Distributions they offer cost effective options for bulk protein, something like £35 for 2kg.
Hope it helps

BDS doesn't stand for Blackburn Distributions by any chance?

"Something like" () £35 for 2kg of powder is not really cost effective.

I think you should all go to EC Protein Distribution instead. No affiliation to myself of course

Just in case no-one has considered it.  But 540g of frozen coley from tesco's is £3 / pack@ £5.56/kg, same with packets of frozen cod.

Frozen fish isn't something that pops to mind with people I know - but some creativity could make tasty meals!  I shall be experimenting myself this weekend.

Went into Holland and Barrett today. I am usually very polite but I'm afraid for the first time in ANY shop, I declared "I'm not paying £32 quid for that!!!!".

                Shop assistant looked very apologetic.

                Even they know.

Haven't a clue where to start, because I want to buy it from a shop - don't like ordering online with all the packaging, hassle of getting it through my door etc. My gym isn't selling it and I've nearly gouged my finger out on the sharp plastic edge of the CNP tub I'm trying.

                Next!

This may be in here somewhere already, but i just bought my first tub of protein this year.  I got Reflex as i had pretty good results before.  Got it from Affordable Supplements @ 39.99 but it came with 100 Thermo Fusion Tabs as well.  They have some good prices on various proteins at the moment and bars.  They range from CNP to Gaspari ect...

There's a place in Warrington "F Houghton and Family" who are wholesale butchers but also sell to the general public, a friend told me about them - went in today and bought a pack of 5KG fresh chicken fillets for £22. That's £4.40 a KG which is fantastic - excellent quality too and not pumped full of water like supermarket crap.

Soya mince maybe the cheapest, malted soya mince may well have similar effects to malted beer and breakfast cereal!) By choice you can sometimes find it even cheaper in the bulk-buy bin store kind of operation, although those seem harder to find than they used to be in the UK.
