Prize fighter Last night

Did anyone watch this I used to love the prizefighter show but I thought last night was pretty ****e. The two guys in the final had about as much power as a solar panel in cave. Felt really sorry for the guy who got stopped due to the cut was really nast but Tyrone imo was leading way too much with his head so could see it coming a mile off. Anyone else got any thoughts?

Anwar has a very unconventional style and is very difficult to pin down over 3 rounds. Prize fighter is for emerging lads coming through from grass roots pro or for the older lads who have had a crack or 2 at British title etc, so occasionally we may feel like the standard is not where we are used to it being. Anwar deserved the win and IMO over 3 rounds would have beaten all the lads there. Over championship distance he may have been found out against the stronger lads. EDIT to say, when Anwar plants his feet he does have a very sharp dig on him.

The young lad who was 22 and 0 quick as lightening a bit maggalini like but jesus christ I thought he was going to get knocked out in the third of his first fight. Agreed I think Anwar would have beat them all but I think the guy who got stopped on a **** would have given his the most trouble.

I agree I think prize fighter suits a certain type of fighter and style, like the fight in the semis between the winner and john Watson. Watson had to take more risks against awar due to his style, but over the full distance it's a totally different fight,. It's a great format in my opinion but how it translates to full distance competition is debatable.
