When I first started out doing pull ups, i could hardly lift just body weight either, but sticking at em and adding weight has made just doing body weight pulls a breeze! try and get your self dipping belt, you'll soon notice a difference mate!
 
The DL's have been at 200 since doing the SD cycle!
Pb was 210 for 3 reps, but I like to get atleast 5 out on deads, so have been stuck at 200 for a bit now, will hopefully improve on that through this cycle though!

Ah that's good going then man! You've not been doing them long at all, and seem to progressing well :-)
 
yeah, dipping belt is for adding weight. You'll soon build strength on pulls though mate. My training partner REALLY found them a problem, I mean, he HATED them LOL, and now he can get about 7 or 8 BW reps on his own.
 
Real shame about the 11-test dude :-( but i cant take the sides... especially for another 5 weeks!
The annoying thing is, I still have pretty much 2 bottle of the stuff!

Yeah must look into a dipping belt if i need it, would be class adding weight and lifting your own BW, you would look so strong, like you do lol

Yeah real shame about 11 test, feel bad for you, but dont get dis-hearted, sell the 11 test and maybe get something else in or enjoy your hdrol its a decent compound anyway :D

Day 7

Well Ive had no 11-test today, and the anxiety / stimulant effects have stopped.
Diet has not been ideal today, but certainly had enough cals! I went out for lunch, and me and the mrs ended up getting a chinese for tea as well - OOPS!
Will be back on track for this week with the diet.

Should get a natural nights sleep tonight, and will be training shoulders and abs tomorrow night.

Last night was the first night that I got a natural nights sleep! although today I have felt lethargic and de-motivated. maybe it is a "come down" from the 11-oxo ??

Agression is definately up a bit, just hope I can make use of it at the gym tonight!

Will be training shoulders/abs tonight.

That could be the hdrol - it had that effect on me in week 2 when i bumped it up to 75mg.

Im just starting week 4 of 6  - gained 12 lbs so far, got to love the hdrol.

Dannat - Yeah it could be the Hdrol, but I stopped taking the 11-oxo on Sunday and I am thinking it may be a result of that? But your right, SD made me feel lethergic in the first week too.
 
So you were bulking on Hdrol then? 12lbs is pretty good man! I am going for a recomp effect, so am just over maintenence cals.
 
What kind of strength increases did you experience mate?

Tonight was Shoulders and Abs.

Was feeling very tired and sluggish today, but here is what I did.

Military Press - Set 1 = 65kg 5 reps (struggle) / Set 2 = 60kg 6 reps

not impressed with this at all, as I normally get 5-6 reps with 65kg when I'm "off"

Machine Shoulder press - Set 1 = 75kg Each side (full stack) 8 reps
                                           Set 2 = 75kg Each side 7 reps

I felt a little stronger on this one.

DB Front Raise - Set 1 = 14kg DB's 12 reps / Set 2 14kg DB's 12 reps

DB Side Latterals - Set 1 = 14kg DB's 12 reps / Set 2 = 14kg DB's 12 reps

DB Bent Over Rear Delts - Set 1 = 10kg 12 reps / Set 2 = 10kg DB's 12 reps

DB Shrugs - Set 1 = 46kg DB's - 14 reps / 48kg DB's = 10 reps

Upright Row - Set 1 = 40kg 12 reps / Set 2 = 42.5kg = 10 reps

Abs - Decline crunches and leg raises


Strange how I felt stronger on machine press and weaker on military press?
I am going back to DB shoulder presses next week anyway, as I dont really like the MP, dont feel as if I can push as much weight out without feeling like I am gonna fall backwards.

Diet has been spot on today, plenty of fruit and veg and obviously lots of protein lol.

I now have a tape measure, so will post up measurements tomorrow as I really can't be arsed tonight!

I used to do bb press or dbell for shoulders now i do both, i thought it would be too tough doing both as they are both tough at heavy poundages but im liking it.

I start from a light weight and work my way up with bb press, then work from heaviest - lightest after bb by doing dbell presses, works well.

Yeah I used to do that actually, but recently I've been doing a couple of sets of either BB or DB press, then a couple of sets on the machine press.
Def gonna stick to DB press though, I find it a lot better.

LEGS

Squats -
Set 1 = 160 x 10 reps / Set 2 = 170kg x 6 reps

Stiff Legged Deads - Set 1 = 140 x 10 reps / Set 2  = 150kg x 7 reps

Leg Press - Set 1 = 300kg x 14 reps / Set 2 = 300kg x 14 reps

Seated Calf rasie (on the leg press) - Set 1 = 250kg x reps / Set 2 = 270kg x 17 reps

Standing Calf Raise (on the smith machine) - Set 1 = 100kg x 18 reps / Set 2 120kg x 12 reps

Leg Extension - Set 1 = 95kg (full stack) x  16 reps / Set 2 = 95kg x 16 reps

A good session tonight... better than last week by far, although last week I'd hardly slept and felt really cr*p so that is no surprise!

Back to the heavy weight on squats, I'm itching to get to 180kg on squats and i WILL do it on this cycle!!
I also felt some slight back pumps on SLDL, it was this particular exercise which set them off when I was on SD, so will have to go steady on it.

Felt pretty lethargic again today, I'm sure will calm down a little soon, and with me stopping the 11-oxo I think is giving me a bit of a come down.

I would normally have tomorrow off the gym, or do cardio, but I am off out on bonfire night (Thurs) so will be training chest and tri's tomorrow night instead.

Waist - 34.5 inches

Still feeling tired through the day, but nothing a coffee doesnt fix!

Tonight was Chest and Tri's, this is what I did.

Incline BB press - Set 1 = 80kg 10 reps / Set 2 = 85kg 6 reps

Flat DB Press - Set 1 = 38kg DB's = 8 reps / Set 2 = 38kg DB's 9 reps

Decline BB Press - Set 1 = 90kg 8 reps / Set 2 = 90kg 8 reps

Cable Flies - Set 1 = 15kg E/S 15 reps / Set 2 = 15kg E/S 15 reps

Cable Push Downs - Set 1 = 42kg 15 reps / Set 2 = 49kg 9 reps

Tricep Dips - Set 1 = 18 reps / Set 2 = 16 reps

Good workout, was really pumped in the gym as well! Chest and arms looked HUGE... so was loving that lol.

Had a weigh in tonight as well, I'm coming in at 14.13 stone, so a couple of pounds on, which is what I expected really esp with the glycogen increase.

Still at maintenece cals as well, so will keep everything the same as seems to be working well.

Will do a bit of cardio tomorrow night, prob a 20 min run on the treadmill will suffice! And will have a big back session on Friday, and I'm also gonna do a light chest session on sat morning followed by some cardio.

12lbs increase and looking leaner! That is great dude, and a very successful cycle considering you still have a week and half left.
 
How many cals have you been having approximately each day?
 
Regarding strength increases, i agree thay are very subtle, but considering I am only in week 2, I am noticing a slight increase simliar to you - A few extra reps top end - which is great so early on.
 
Had a weigh in last night mate, and I'm 14.13, so that is a couple of lbs from when I started.
I am not bulking though, I am recomping, so I am sticking at around mainenence cals as I'm hoping for a drop in BF and an increase in lean mass.
 
If I can gain about 6 - 7 lbs muscle, and drop 2 % bf, I will be a happy man.
Then I can do another bulk in the new year either with dbol/test cycle, or possiblt another DS like SD/Tren or M1t.

Cheers man, Yeah it's a great feeling!

Didn't up date for yesterday which was Day 11.

Just did some cardio last night, which was 12 mins on the treadmill keeping heart rate at about 150 bpm.

Then I did another 12 mins on the cross trainer, again keeping heart rate a about 150 - 160 bpm.

Diet has been much the same, also I have started to take 1 capsule of 11-test in a morning, and see how I get on with that. Even with 1 though, it gives me a massive adrenaline rush!

Day 12

Today I had my 1 capsule of 11-test, it seriously gave me an adrenaline rush until around 4pm LOL, I was ok though, and hoping that the effects diminish some what so I can start taking more!

Tonight was Back and Biceps - PB's on Deadlift

Deadlifts -
Set 1 = 200kg 8 reps / Set 2 = 205kg 5 reps (almost 6 just couldnt lock out)

Wide grip pull ups - Set 1 = +15kg 8 reps / Set 2 = +15kg 7 reps

Barbell Rows - Set 1 = 90kg 10 reps / Set 2 = 100kg 10 reps

Low Row - Set 1 = 43.5kg 12 reps / Set 2 = 10 reps

Standing DB arm curls - Set 1 = 28kg DB's = 6 reps / Set 2 = 28kg DB's 6 reps

Preacher Curls EZ Bar - Set 1 = 30kg + Bar 12 reps / Set 2 = 30kg + Bar 9 reps

Already feeling stronger on most things, deadlifts where great, got 8 reps with 200kg which is a PB (just!), and although I have lifted 210 before, I only got 3 reps, so the 205 is also a PB really.

If I am getting strength increases already, I am hoping for good things over the next 4 weeks!

Also, had a great pump in the gym, arms were busting out my Tshirt LOL.

Went to do some extra chest work today and a little cardio.
Wasn't going for mega heavy sets, so just did.

Flat Bench - Set 1 = 80kg for 12 reps / Set 2 90kg for 6 reps / Set 3 8-kg for 3 reps.

Wide Grip Dips - Body weight only 3 sets of 20 reps

Machine Chest Press - 55kg - 3 sets of 15 reps

Pec Dec Machine - 45kg - 3 sets of 15 reps

I then did a 12 min run keeping heart rate at around 155 bpm.

Didn't update yesterday, as it was a rest day.

Day 15

Checked BP on Sat night, and it has shot up (expected to some degree, and I felt it had gone up with pressure headaches etc).

It was 141/94 which is mild hypertension. 3 weeks ago it was 119/72 so it is quite an increase.

Diet was pretty good over the weekend, a few cheat meals here and there, but the weekend is the only time I tend to eat any junk, so it's all good.

Tonight will be training Shoulders and Abs, and I am now back on to 2 of the 11-test caps per day.

Not a bad sesh, I was pretty tired though as didnt sleep well last night.
As I've mentioned before, the DB's at David Lloyds don't include the weight of the bar, so the 34's are more like 37's (like I was lifting at Fitness First), so i'm happy with the weight I'm managing on this for now.

I have decided to drop the cals a little bit more to really make use of the Hdrol and 11-Test - I need to drop more BF before I do a test cycle next year so might as well drop the fat now, so I can bulk later.

BTW feeling really thirsty on this stuff now! drinking like a fish day and night.

AWG - hes doing 10 sets mate and making sure he hits each part of the shoulder ie front, medial, rear, perfectly fine imo even if hes not 'on.'

AWG - hes doing 10 sets mate and making sure he hits each part of the shoulder ie front, medial, rear, perfectly fine imo even if hes not 'on.'


Yeah I noticed after I posted, lots of exercises but only 2 sets on each one...I prefer to do just 3/4 exercises with 5 sets on each.

Yeah, AWG, as Ice says, it is just to make sure that I hit all heads.. but you're right, it is a lot, I just like to give shoulders a good blasting!

Iceman - The Extra chest work was good, might throw that in again on sat and make use of the quick recovery!

PS. I have used 11-Test with no issues and see you have 2 part used bottles. I have a sealed bottle of EST Phera-vol in my cupboard that I am very unlikely to use; if you fancy a swap let me know.

I have started to use the 11-test at just 2 caps per day again now, and seem to  be getting used to it, but I will let you know if I decide to stop using it again, if I do I would be up for the swap :-)

Skullcrusher - Gotta say maybe doing 2 or so sets more with dbell and machine press may be better, i dont think 2 sets on each is ample mate, 3/4 sets on each would be more benifitial imo.

Yeah i added extra chest work in for my SD cycle too, as my chest is my weakest part i would say. May as well make the most of the extra recovery, dont overload though as i found i did the first week i added in extra chest work.

Iceman - Thanks for the comments dude. I used to 3 sets on shoulder press, but because I am just going as heavy as poss ATM, I am just currently keeping to 2 sets on everything, although I will no doubt revert to slightly higher volume at some point (like to mix it up! lol).

I also find benching really hits my shoulders hard (even though I dont use a wide grip).

I will def take your advice on the extra chest work man, I am just gonna keep my extra work light, but some nice reps! Hopefully will do some good!

DAY 16
 
Legs - Red = PB
 
Squats - Set 1 = 170kg 10 reps / Set 2 = 175kg 6 reps

SLDL  - Set 1 = 140kg 12 reps / Set 2 = 150kg 10 reps

Leg Press - Set 1 = 300 kg 16 reps / Set 2 = 320kg 14 reps

Leg Press Calf Raise - Set 1 = 300kg 16 reps / Set 2 = 320kg 14 reps

Smith machine calf raise - Set 1 = 80kg 20 reps / Set 2 = 80 kg 18 reps

Machine Leg Ext - Set 1 = 95kg (full stack) 20 reps / Set 2 = 95kg 16 reps

After a really busy day at work and travelling to Manchester for a meeting, I was tired! and wasnt sure how I would fair up at the gym... but I didnt need to worry as I broke a PB in the squat, and even though I was tired, I felt strong.

After the training, I was feeling sick. sometimes get this after leg training though, feel fine now though so alllllll goooood!!!!!

Had a weigh in tonight and I'm at 14.11 stone, but even though I'm not gaining "weight", I definately look a little leaner, but muscles are looking more pumped so I'm happy up to now, and I still have almost 4 weeks left, so I'm sure by then I will look much better. Also, I'm gonna up the 11-test to 3 caps per day and see how I get on.

No worries whatever suits you mate. Yeah cool mate dont expect to get to big chest sessions in a week it wont happen and will lead to overtraining imo but you know this anywho :D I did a biggish session say on wed 10sets or so then did a few sets say 3/4/5 sets on sunday for extra chest work. Cant remember exactly :S
