Day 28

Shoulders and Abs

DB Shoulder Press -
Set 1 = 34kg DB's - 8 reps / Set 2 = 34kg DB's 8 reps 

Smith Machine Press - Set 1 = 50kg +Bar 10 reps / Set 2 = 50kg +bar 10 reps

Cable front raises - Set 1 = 30kg 16 reps / Set 2 = 35kg 14 reps

Cable Side Lat Raises - Set 1 = 20kg 14 reps / Set 2 = 25kg - 12 reps

Cable rear delt raises - Set 1 = 10kg 14 reps / Set 2 = 10kg 14 reps

Cable Upright Rows - Set 1 = 85kg 12 reps / 90kg = 12 reps

DB Shrugs - 40kg DB's = 16 slow reps / 40kg DB's 15 slow reps

Abs - Leg Raises and machine crunches

All in all a good session, I thought I would have increased the DB presses, but the last rep I was struggling on so I didnt want to increase just yet.

I've changed things around a bit on shoulders, doing more cable work on the raises, just to switch it up a little, I don't think it makes much difference doing cable work with these kind of excersises as they're not exactly mass builders!

      No one says nothing when you natural, but its good when they compliment you when your on as gains are obviously coming quicker which they should be so more recognisible.

      Nice session mate, 40kg shrugs slowly, my forearms would die on me doing 25kg slowly lol Your cable work is heavy so i wouldnt worry. 34kg presses are sick as are 50kg curls.

        I dropped the weight down on shrugs, just because I wanted to get some nice controlled reps out, as I think heavy deads and back work really bring out my traps, so prob no need to go stupidly heavy on this.

          Legs and Arms

          RED = PB

          Squats - Set 1 = 170kg 8 reps / Set 2 = 180kg 5 reps

          Stiff Leg Deads (strapless) - Set 1 = 140kg 10 reps /Set 2 = 140kg 8 reps

          Leg Press - Set 1 = 330kg 16 rep /
          Set 2 = 350kg 12 reps

          Calves (leg Press) - Set 1 = 320kg - 14 reps/ Set 2 = 340kg 14 reps

          Calf Raise Smith Machine - Set 1 = 80kg +bar 22 reps / Set 2 = 80kg +bar 20 reps

          Leg Extension - Set 1 = 92.5kg (full stack) 20 reps / Set 2 = 92.5kg (full stack) 18 reps

          Arm Curls DB - Set 1 = 24kg DB's 8 reps / Set 2 = 24kg DB's 8 reps

          Cable Arm Curls (straight bar) - Set 1 = 70kg 10 reps / Set 2 = 70kg 10 reps

          Really pleased with finally getting 4 plates each side on the squat. I knew I had it in me :-D
          Next step 200! lol

          Really good session, my legs are aching today!
          Also, started to train my arms on leg day for abit again, have used this method before, just because I recently injured my tendons in my forearms and they take too much of a battering on back day. Plus it is always good to switch it up

                Day 30

                Aching today from legs last night, good thing though, although I have ran out of L-Glut so prob explains why I am aching more.

                Tonight I just went and did some cardio and some extra ab work.
                Just did a 15 min high intensity run, don't like to do anymore than that if HIIT especially as I currently in a calories deficit.

                Got weighed tonight and I am now 14.10 stone, this is same as start weight, so has come down a couple of pounds over the last couple weeks, but my BF is without a doubt a good couple of % lower, you will see when I post the pics up at the end of cycle, I have been cutting back quite a lot on the carbs though as I really want to get as cut as poss before cycle finishes.

                  You really shift some weight buddy!

                  Do you find the L-Glut really works, I was going to order some but read a few reports that it had no effect on recovery.

                    It's hard to say for definate really mate, but I do think it works TBH.
                    As I say, I've recently ran out of the stuff after using for constantly using it over the past 1 n half years, and I can really feel the difference! esp after legs last night, so I would recommend it.

                    Best time to use it is straight after training and before bed time (if you've trained that night). Just add a tea spoon to you shake.

                          Day 31

                          For some reason, I wasn't feeling as strong in the gym for this one. I had no training partner (again) which I wasn't best pleased about, as chest is really the only night I could use someone there.

                          Anyway, this is what I did.

                          Chest and Triceps

                          Incline BB Press -
                          Set 1 = 90kg 5 reps / Set 2 = 90kg 5 reps

                          I managed to get a lad from the gym to spot me, and I'm glad I did as need a little help on the last rep.

                          DB Flat Press - Set 1 = 40kg 7 reps / Set 2 = 40kg 6 reps

                          Decline BB Press - Set 1 = 90kg 7 reps / Set 2 = 90kg 7reps

                          Pec Dec - Set 1 = 60kg 16 reps / Set 2 = 70kg 14 reps

                          Cable Pull Downs - Set 1 = 85kg 10 reps / Set 2 = 85kg 10 reps
                           
                          Body Weight close Grip Dips - Set 1 = 18 slow reps / Set 2 = 16 slow reps

                          For some reason, I just wasn't "feelin' it" at the gym. Not a terribly bad session, but not as good as I would have liked.

                          Don't like training my chest on my own TBH, just because I really like to push myself, and don't feel as though I can quite as much when I am on my own.

                          Anyway, a positive point lol... chest is looking big (regardless of the rubbish session) and I am going to be training back tonight, so deadlifts here we gp for another PB!! Gonna go for 215kg tonight and see how many I can get out - wish me luck! -

                                    Day 32 - Red = PB

                                    Back

                                    Deadlifts -
                                    Set 1 = 205kg 6 reps / Set 2 = 215kg 3 (and a half!) reps

                                    Wide Grip Pull Ups - Set 1 = +10kg 10 reps / Set 2 = +15kg 6 reps followed instantly by 8 Body weight only reps.

                                    DB Rows -
                                    Set 1 = 44kg DB's - 8 reps / Set 2 = 44kg DB's 8 reps

                                    Pulley - Set 1 = 60kg 12 reps / Set 2 = 70kg 10 reps

                                    Lat Pull Downs - Close grip under arm -
                                    Set 1 = 70kg 10 reps / Set 2 = 70kg 8 reps


                                    Good session all together, very pleased with the PB, I just couldnt quite lock out for the 4th rep (hence why I put 3 and a half lol).
                                    Considering I'm in a calorie deficit, I'm impressed with the PB.

                                    So much adrenaline before my 2nd set of deads, I was a little bit sick in my mouth haha... I sometimes wonder why the hell I do it to myself, but then I lift 215kg and know it's all worth it!

                                    Added the under arm lat pull downs in as I am not training biceps with back anymore. I like doing these as they really bring the lower lpart of the lats out.
