Just made these this afternoon, decided to use fine ground oats so had to adjust recipe a little to get the right consistency.

    6oz(170g) Fine Ground Oats
    4.25oz(120g) MP Choc Nut Whey
    5oz(140g) Sainsbury's Crunchy Peanut Butter
    150ml Skimmed Milk.

These came out the oven 30 mins ago, tried one. Tasted delicious, just like peanuts mixed in with nutella. The consistency was a little soft but they should firm up when they go in the fridge. Since I used fine oats the texture was more nougat than flapjack. Also dusted them in cocoa, for a finishing touch.

Above ingredients came to 150.9g protein, 152.5g carbs,  93.3g fat, 2053kcal

I divided into 8 bars so 15.1g protein, 15.2g carbs, 9.3 fat, 204kcal per bar

Will try and get some pics up later

Cheers to the OP, great recipe

      Some pictures

      Batch

Pre cooling, tasty but a little soft

Finished bar, much firmer once cooled, ~200kcal, 15g Protein

Now need some restraint, so I don't polish them all off in 2 days

My missus cooked me some when I got home from work as I showed her this thread :D so nice of her to do that! They taste great too! But bless her, she used my post-workout powder, instead of the standard whey, so it's very carby :P

this receipe is really good, i used PHD pharma 6hr belgium chocolate, but used x 5 scoops. Split into 8 bars this gives 20gram of protein a bar. Generally eat x 2 at a time. Way easier to nosh down then many of the minging bars on the market

Just made a batch of these.  Didn;t take any pics during the prep as I though they'd turn out rubbish! lol!!

I was wrong!!!  They are really nice!!!

Currently waiting for them to cool  One slice already been eaten!!

Thought they would be too dry, as the mixture seemed too dry compared with other pics on here.  Tast great though.

Might add a bit more milk next time, and deffo add some raisins.

                Cheers for the recipe!

how long do these last people? If I made a batch would they be good for a week in the fridge at 2 degrees?

Just made these this afternoon, decided to use fine ground oats so had to adjust recipe a little to get the right consistency.

                        6oz(170g) Fine Ground Oats
                        4.25oz(120g) MP Choc Nut Whey
                        5oz(140g) Sainsbury's Crunchy Peanut Butter
                        150ml Skimmed Milk.

These came out the oven 30 mins ago, tried one. Tasted delicious, just like peanuts mixed in with nutella. The consistency was a little soft but they should firm up when they go in the fridge. Since I used fine oats the texture was more nougat than flapjack. I divided into 8 bars so 15.1g protein, 15.2g carbs, 9.3 fat, 204kcal per bar

Will try and get some pics up later

Cheers to the OP, great recipe

They look good. How long did you bake them for and at what temp?

                                      1 cup of uncooked oatmeal

Mix the pb and honey in a bowl, microwave on full for 80 secs. Add the rest and mix together (get your hands in man!!) can add raisins/nuts etc to taste. Smooth into 13x9 tray and leave for 20 mins. Cut into 10 to 12 equal bars and wrap and store in fridge!!
