I'd used 2000-3000mg of Milk Thistle (standarized for 80% silymarin) and 1200-1500mg N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC) a day divided in to 2-3 doses.

Purus are a stand up company, they don't just throw in ingredients at doses which are 'supposed' to be right according to common conseus (which as we all well know in the fitness world is so often wrong), they have solid research backing up the ingredients & the doses they are included at.

I would be more than happy to recommend Organ Shield as being a good support option to anyone and it is now the only support supp I use personally anyway.

Interesting. Could you direct us to the independant, controlled study data which demonstrates efficacy of the actual product or individual components using 17-aa steroid using subjects?

Yes I'm aware of the studies cited by the manufacturers, which is why I specifically asked for:

"controlled study data which demonstrates efficacy of the actual product or individual components using using 17-aa steroid using subjects"

After all, this is exactly the target market for the product, so efficacy should be demonstrated within this demographic
                      using 17-aa steroid using subjects

For alkylated orals just get some milk thistle or Liv52. Having said that, it's my belief that even this is not particularly essential given the blood works I've seen including my own when using modest doses and durations.

Can't hurt though and gives most people more peace of mind if they run a liver supp.

1000mg Milk Thistle (standarized for 80% silymarin) and 1200mg N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine divided in to two to three doses a day seems to be the way to go. Personally i used 2000-3000mg of milk thistle powder with around 1200mg NAC.

NAC does seem a popular choice

however, the milkt thistle lessening the PH effect is worrying

thanks partyboy, so that would be your ideal choice for liver support

and it apparently helps in terms of cholesterol too

it just seems too good to be true!

but it would seem cycle support covers more bases though....

The question you need to ask yourself is this:

Do you believe that your organs are at risk and need 'protecting' from the effects of a modest cycle?

I know what my answer is :-)

the thing is, it will be SD and i know how potent/harsh that can be. i want to be as 'protected' as i can be without actually not taking it if you get me.
