I had something similar mate and it was a non gym related injury -- I work on the doors and stood opening and closing a door (light door) for a few hours, imagine raising your left arm to parrallel as if doing lateral rasies, holding it there and open/close a door.  It ****ed me for 3 weeks, I got some physio bands and did some rotator cuff excercise's before every chest or shoulder workout and added some deca to my cycle and voila 2 weeks after this its fine :)

I'd avoid the excercise that is aggrivating it for the time being mate and just ensure to fully warm up the area before excercise.

    Stats:

    Bench: 165Kg 1RM
    Squat: 190Kg 1RM
    Deadlift: 220kg 1RM

yeah stay away from aggrivating factors and maybe hit up some anti imflammatories to speed recovery and ease the pain in the mean time.

maybe swap over the nerves that control the fingers and toes, thatd be funny. also swap the arm and leg nerves, everytime he went to shake someones hand his leg would fly out with wiggly toes, hahaha. im so mature its outrageous. hahaha

not saying it to be mean, i just think it would look funny. every time he tried to run his arms would go flying all over the place. haha. you shoulda seen my in the wet labs at uni. they gave me a cadaver and a bunch of sharp little knives, i had a great time (whilst at all times being very respectful of the dead - seriously).
