S777 Icemansoldier Scivation xtend used pre/during/post wo on workout days only. why only workout days buddy? To make it workout so its not expensive, if you used it everyday it would work out expensive. http://www.musclefinesse.com/scivation-xtend.aspx Supplement Facts per serving 2 scoops (11.5g) L-Leucine 3.5g L-Glutamine 2.5g L-Isoleucine 1.75g L-Valine 1.75g Citrulline Malate 1g Say you took 4 scoops daily, a big tub would last 45 days for £43.99 = expensive. Ok now say you wo 3 times a week, 4 scoops for each wo, a big tub @ £43.99 will last 15 weeks (just under 4 months)

You could go with some bulk bcaa from MP like HS has suggested but xtend is already flavoured and tastes nice while bulk bcaa is not so great and you would need to flavour it if you wanted too. So up to you.

if you dont mind me asking what is your reason for wanting amino acid powder? BCAA's and pure amino powders or capsules are only really best used around trianing when your body is anabolic enough to utilise the protein effectively. when used at other times of the day or on non-training days the aminos will be absorbed from the intestines so quickly the body will not be fast enough to utilise it all so much of the protein will be wasted. this is why egg or casein proteins are often added to whey during the day to prolong the half life in the intestine and make sure more of it is actually used by the body. the Xtend that iceman recommended is a good product and in powder form you wont find much better. capsules are always an option. just use the aminos around training and a whey protein or blended protein at all other times.

So up to you. Hi, Of course our bulk BCAA powder is the best value, but doesn't taste great. You could try our MP MAX - Exceed product which is essentially flavoured BCAA with some additional active ingredients added as well: http://www.myprotein.co...-max/supplements/exceed/ MP

Not sure how I did it but put measured 10g of beta alanine into a shake once by mistake (not concentrating on powder dosages). Felt like millions of ants running across my face, luckily only lasted about half an hour.

People in the gym must have thought i was a mental case!
