Reps and sets when training for basketball? 28 January 2012 13:10 (permalink)
I haven't done any weight training before and want to start in order to improve my basketball. I saw somewhere that I should use low weights with high reps, but what does high reps mean? Is it about 15-20?

Also how many sets would you recommend per exercise?

I'd focus on your legs, shoulders and triceps...

    12-20 reps

    2/3 exercises per muscle group

Do front/back squats, SLDL, over head press, bench press, dips, pull ups, box jumps
