Farmhouse, Portsmouth. Off the Eastern Road.

Some dishes are to be steered clear of however they do a brilliant 24 OZ steak that goes down well. And the double swordfish and steamed brown basmati is a winner.

I thought I would add a shout for Korean barbecue (again, mainly for the Londoners, sorry guys).  Its great tasting stuff although the - extortionate - price you would have to pay for anything nearing a decent intake of protein would cover at least a weeks good shopping imo.  Ask for dweiji galbi.

Basic concept is the meat is put in a leaf or very thin letteuce with sliced roasted garlic, some seasoned roots, sliced chillis and a bean-based sauce and wrapped up as a parcel.  Its delicious.  Korean cuts of pork are the best around in my experience.

The Brazilian and Mongolian buffets caught my eye but, honestly, how much of this thread is good food and how much is actually bodybuilding food??  The two ideas seem to have been blurred together as one.

Not strictly speaking maybe, but I think its obvious what I am getting at here.  After all the sauces, dressings, garnishes, sides and extras is the majority of what is posted really condusive to meeting one's goals (generalising about goals here as everyone is different)?  Whether someone is on a cutting programme or a bulking one makes a difference too but nevertheless.

Yea I'll second COSMO. They have restaurants all over the UK. I love hanging out buy the grill and a nice Chinese bloke will cook you up whatever you fancy, just add it to your plates.

Another vote for Nandos, all hail the free chicken loyalty card!!  I have a free whole chicken next time I nando!  Which will probs be tomorrow!! :D

Nandos is heaven. Weve just had one open few years ago in glasgow - the place is packed to the nines. Highly delicious and nutritious food.

ANYONE IN LONDON CHECK THIS ONE OUT ----- A TOCA-- ON WANDSWORTH ROAD SW it's a portuguese restaurant, not posh, but the food is amazing for 25 quid they put a pot on the table. siriously the actual pot, my favourite is a bean and rice seafood stew, there are litterally 3 lobsters in there, filled with prawns and muscles  enough food for 6. try it you won't be disapointed.

i asked for the rescipioes they gave it too me, it is sooooo healthy

I will go to places that have buffets after I see what is on offer.

I eat or pick out the meat, prawns, roast beef etc and leave the batter, sauce and other crap for the scavengers who are probably going to have cardiac arrest anyway

Chicken Sheesh Touk with plain white boiled rice from most Arabic/Iranian restaurants when I'm not in the mood for Nando's.

Yo sushi is always a good one - Sashimi being the choice to go for.

Most pubs about here (kent area) are fine with customizing the menu. Seasoned freshly breaded chicken breast salad with honey mustard dressing ?   No thanks. Make it 2 unbreaded chicken breasts, no dressing and throw in a bit of avacado.....beautiful.

Even the maidstone pizza express sorted me out a decent meal when i asked.

Its all about having the convidence to ask in a polite way and not getting arsey when they tell you to piss off when you ask for chicken tuna and eggs mashed up in a bucket.

^ I sometimes ask to change the dish slightly and add a few extras and never had no problems.
