Can one get away with eating savoury rice in the so called off season as there main source of carbohydrate or is that a dream

            I wouldn't worry too much about it, anything is fine in moderation.
            Enjoy your food. There's no point in eating meal after meal and dreading the next one.

                    Lower than other types of rice yes, not as low as brown rice though of your looking for low
