Road to Rich's(FINAL PHOTOS ADDED PAGE 4) 04 September 2011 23:19 (permalink)
Hey everyone,

This is the start of the end of my journey.
I have been dieting for all but 4 weeks since the end of January this year.
This is the final stage of my year long goal of becoming super ripped and in the best shape of my life.

Stats:

Weight - 13st 12lb or 88kg
Height - 5'10"
Body Fat - You tell me? 20%?
Flexed Measurements:
Chest -  45"
Arms -  15.25"
Waist - 38"
Thigh - 24.5"

I shall not be using any PED's and have never done so apart from a two week cycle of Ephedrine early in the summer. I am using a keto diet.

Thanks guys, got at least 10lb of fat to shift so may reach my goal early. If so I'll maintain till the end of November.

Following the DP Keto diet, it will change as I progress but this is it at the moment:

                25g Whey 1teasp Natural PB
                8oz Cooked chicken + 20 cashew nuts + Broccoli
                25g Whey 1teasp Natural PB
8oz cooked lean minced steak + 1 tablesp EVOO + Broccoli
                25g Whey 1teasp Natural PB

Good stuff, followed the DP keto diet for about 6 weeks myself at the begining of the year with good results and plan to revert back to the basics of it again when I start cutting, starting to mentally prepare myself for all the eggs now, lol.

                          Thanks guys.
I'm a bit disappointed with the way my photo's came out, they actually make me look a lot smaller than I am for some reason?
I will look to improve on that for the finish pics.

Yes but that will make the transformation all the more impressive!

So week one of training is now over. Has been a good week in the gym, a slight niggle in my right shoulder seems to have disappeared.
I've taken all pressing movements out of my training too for the time being to ensure the injury doesn't come back.

My four day split looks like this:

                                Monday - Chest and Biceps
Tuesday - Back, Hamstrings and Calves
                                Thursday - Shoulders and Triceps
                                Friday - Quads and Abs

I adopted this split a few weeks back and it is working well for me. Doing a mix of volume and heavy stuff to keep the brain ticking over and the muscles thinking.
Have recently introduced BBW Excel intra-workout and this is helping ease DOMS massively and hopefully helping to maintain mass whilst on a diet.
My diet this week, as usual, has been ultra strict. Tomorrow is cheat meal time and I shall enjoy it, not decided what to have yet but it will be pretty epic.
Weigh in is due tomorrow morning so will update once this has been completed, hoping to have lost 1-2lb.

Have also completed 4 hours of steady state cardio this week, keeping my heart rate at 120bpm or under.

Surprisingly didn't lose any weight this week, strange as I feel much tighter and toned. That's the way it works on the DP diet sometimes though. Going to make a few adjustments to the diet this week but keep everything else the same. Feeling good.

What a tit I have been, my diet last week was 10g over in fat! No wonder I didn't lose any weight, ha ha. I have made the necessary adjustments and am right back on track again.

What a tit I have been, my diet last week was 10g over in fat! No wonder I didn't lose any weight, ha ha. I have made the necessary adjustments and am right back on track again.
Dont worry about the weight loss to much mate, done 8 weeks of DP keto earlier in the year and hardly lost an ounce but visibly there was a big diffrerence, hopefully when address the extra fat issue you,ll get the results you want.

Its never to late to become what you might have been !
