Well my other half drinks tea like its going out of fasion something she picked up when she was in the army and when she made one for her self she would make me green tea but got sick of the same thing all day so i now drinking coffee just for a change still have 3-4 green teas a day. I am going to up my water consumption next week to see if it makes any more difference as i must admit i am not drinking more than 3 litres per day including shakes

Cant say i am a big fan of green tea but i will do what is needed, i drink 3 mugs per day and the rest of the time i drink coffee black,
Weekend was good nice to chill and do nothing when i say nothing i mean cardio done sat morning, and took the other half to Exbury gardens on sunday morning so she could run in there 10k, while she was running i took the little lad to have a masive piece of choc cake while i had a mug of black coffee, then we waited for mum to finish the race, got her a cup of tea and some food, then we took the little lad on the mini steam train had a walk around the gardens the came home and fell asleep on the sofa,
now i am gaging to get to the gym for my leg workout.

It was nice to get out and about with the family at the weekend, ive worked outside all my working life couldnt work in doors, i takes the rough with the smooth, but i must say i do like working outdoors, up on the roof watching the world go by in the sunshine, bring on the summer.

The only down side to my line of work is that one week i might be up on the roof rebuilding a chimmy the next in doors fitting a kitchen or plastering ect so like i say rough with the smooth, but i am my own boss and nothing can replace that when all said and done, i decide what work i take on and when i want time off i dont need to ask nobody, so i am not super rich but i would not want it any other way, I go to work to live not live to work.

                    Right here goes
Monday was legs day Micky took out the hamstrings, as my leg routine was too hard and too long, and towards the end i was just going through the motions
Totally blasted legs got a very good pump completed the movements as instructed, when leaving the gym i know that i had just done a proper leg seasion and today being wednesday i can still feel it (quality)

                    Tuesday was chest and tricpts
Again Micky has made his changes, found it hard going mentally on the chest as the weight had dropped and the number gone up but the whole thought in the chest training was on the movement not the amount of weight moved, started off with girly weights quite expecting to move up to the big boy weights, that didnt happen just sweated and grunted my way through, having said that when i stood up and did a side chest pose in the mirror i had to double take was that me ? i had so much size and i look ok from the side (outstanding result) i was well pleased with my self. chest seams a little tight today, i think i can push/squeeze a bit harder next week, or at least i will try.

The changes that Mick has made to my routine are not huge but what a differance all credit to Micky first class chap i am well pleased.

Not forgetting the Man behind the diet just as important
James the changes you have made are holding fast feel stronger and more wake all day body fat is coming down, but i am not the person to ask as i am my own worst critic but this weekend coming is show and tell, more photos, i personaly would like to shift some of the excess from around my middle, its moving but i have never been able to wait, its not happening quick enough but i am impatiant,
just one thing my knees are begining to hurt with all the walking / leg day training hopefull this will ease now micky has made the leg workout more condensed. anything i can take to help with this ? I know my age is against me (do i sound old ?) but i say this as i am not twenty anymore, all credit as its now 6 weeks since i started or will be at the weekend and what a change so far just another 14 weeks to go oh what joy, i am only joking even thought its hard work on the body and the head i am well pleased i decided to do it and very pleased i got the help from Micky and James, with out there experiance it would have been so much harder to to it all alone, I can say one thing for sure i will not be getting so far out of shape on my next bulk and there will defo be some cardio in there too.

Day off today quotes and paperwork,   just HIIT to do later on the bike when my lads in bed.

Hi mate, looking big dude, very hard for us taller folk to look massive but you have pulled it off well!

Wouldn't mind competing myself someday, looks like good fun and a challenge of motivation and dedication. One question though. swear I didn't see you post it but are competing in a height category? What weight do you think you will compete at?

                        Good luck anyway

Hi chap thanks for dropping in feel free to come back anytime and add you comments, well its going ok at the moment when i first went to see James i was 18st 11lbs and james said that i would need to lose around 2 stone, more than i thought but having not prepared for a comp before what did i know ?  I have lost 1 stone and 1lb i think i might need to lose a bit more than a stone to come in ripped, but the first stone came off quite easy and has made a huge differance, i will upload some photos at the weekend, i am under no illusion the next stone will cling on for dear life and some drastic measures will need to be taken, but that is for james to deal with, i am just the sucker that has to do the hard work, i have now got the idea of weight = size out of my head, as with my shirt and jeans off i look bigger and have more shape, cutting body fat = gives the illusion of size, just hope i dont have to stand next to a guy the size of the hulk and ripped, then i will know how the chaps that are 5 ft and under 70kg wet feel. I am entered into the over 40 class.

We could go stricter, but then you'll be suffering like before.  I think you'll have to be patient.  The only suggestion I'd make to speed things up is 5 mins longer per cardio session

I hear what you are saying james, as it happens i am trying to walk more during the day,  instead of taking the van, i will add on another 5min to my morning cardio,
just a quick question in my morning shake can i have frozen cherries as i am now getting board with blueberries, and i dont like frozen fruit with pips, have read some intresting stuff on cherrys ??

Well, there's nothing particularly amazing about cherries any more so than any other fruit, however, yes they'll be a fine alternative.

Good going on the weight loss mate, and you don't like frozen blueberries...their tops I usually add them to my breaky if the missus remembers them, she rips me for having my own shopping list!
