feb 28th dead lifts 5x5 177.5kg PB lat pulldowns 5x5 22 blocks dumbell rows 5x5 44kg olimpic bar curls 5x5 60kg training going well made a gain on my deads today

Been busy with work and not had a chance to write up log so here goes have made some more weight increases and all is going well 5th march 2007 bench press 5x5 107.5 kg dips 5x5 + 19kg military press 5x5 86.5 kg close grip press 5x5 65kg in smith machine 7th march 2007 dead lift 5x5 177.5 kg lat pull downs 5x5 23 blocks PB dumbell rows 5x5 44kg curls 5x5 dumbells 26kg 9th march 2007 leg press 5x5 370kg straight leg dead lift 5x5 100kg seated calfs 5x5 115kg abbs leg raises 3x12 sit ups 3x12 stick twists 3x12

14 march 2007 today i tryed somthing differant instead of using the same weight for the deadlifts Deadlifts 5x5 1st set 140kg 2nd set 155kg 3rd set 170kg 4th set 177.5kg 5th set 185kg Lat pulldowns 5x5 23 blocks dumbell rows 5x5 44kg dumbell curls 4x5 26kg 1x20 21kg the changes are to shake thing up a bit as ive been on the 5x5 now for 10 weeks ive made some good gains and will return to it after a couple of weeks

I know you were trying something different, but did you not find that the first couple of sets were too easy though!? If you managed 185 for 5 on the 5th set you must of been able to get plenty more than 5 with the 140!?

Yes like i say i was trying somthing differant i want to show my self that i can lift more weight so trying to fool the body next week i will start with more weight just doing this as i need a kick to push my weights up it might work then again i will never know unless i try i just seamed to get to 177.5kg and stop,i want to get to 200kg for 5 and beyond thanks for looking in hows things with you?? all well i hope

Things are ok at the moment, other than the last week which was a little crappy. I've only just recently cracked the 200k for 5 and it was f'ing hard work! If you're looking to push your working weights up and aiming more for strength gains then i would just try and add weight at every opportunity. At 185 for 5 im sure you won't be too far away from the 200.

16 march did the same kind of thing with the leg press/and seated calf machine to try and increase the weight Leg press 1x5 270kg 1x5 340kg 1x5 365kg 1x5 385kg 1x5 400kg Straight leg deads 5x5 100kg standing on a box to get deeper streach Seated calfs 1x5 90kg 1x5 110kg 1x5 120kg 1x5 130kg 1x5 135kg abbs crunches 3x12 leg raises inc knees to chest 3x12 weighted twists 3x20

Right i wont go into this too much but i stopped training shortly after last post, life went all tits up Now i am back two years older, moved from east anglia to gosport hampshire and have just started training at don stylers gym proper hard core, cobwebs and dust refreshing to find a gym like this in a strange kind of way, clean and filled with all the latest gear is not for me, never has been makes me feel uncomfortable, So its start all over again i have been training now for 3 weeks, body weight was 15 st 10lbs sorted my diet and i am gaining weight slowly where did all my strength go  will sort some photos and post up some stats soon.

My stats as of when i started Neck 15 1/2" chest 47" Bicepts 16" forarms 13" waist 38" thighs 24 1/2 " calfs 16" Body weight 15stone 10lbs

Then as of today after 4 weeks back training neck 15 1/2" chest 49 1/2" bicepts 16 1/2" forarms 13 1/4" waist 38 1/2" Thighs 26" calfs 16 1/2" Body weight 16stone 7lbs

lost a lot of size but its coming back very quick, starting to bulk up very nicely, wont take long to be back to my old self plenty of food, rest, and training, will try and upload so pictures of me now

Little update size is coming back along with the strength Weight my self yesterday 16st 11lbs and my stats are 16 1/4 neck 50 chest 17 bicepts 13 1/2 forarms 38 waist 26 thighs 16 1/4 calfs Now its the second week that my weight has stayed the same i am eating 6 meals a day and comsuming 50-60 gm protien per meal so i am thinking i need to up my carbs, not ever having counted my carbs its something i am going to have to do some research on
