Went on a work nite do tonite at an eat as much as you can buffet - this could have put a massive spanner in the works. However, managed to find lots of clean rice, lots of sushi and lean cutlets of steak (bloody as hell mmm, mmm , mmmmmmm), several times and followd it up with lots of jelly, and sweets (they had a sweet counter with soft sweets like harbio you could load up on). All in all, lots of healthy clean carbs and very little fats. Well pleased. Went to Cosmo in Bristol, for anyone who knows the area.

Could be a spanner in the works. Turned my ankle on Thursday playing football and I think I have done something more sinister. I have pins and plates in my ankle (due to football) and I think something is up. Going to get to the A&E if it continues to play up. See how it goes.

CL It seems as if football is becoming your achilles heel. You drink when you watch it and get injured when you play it! Joking aside, football is notorious for injuries. Firstly you have blokes running around in inadequate trainers(skimpy badly fitting boots if grass), performing nasty twists and turns. Really knackers the old knees (more than running), played as amateurs/pub league stylee you have 10 blokes, half unfit or don't play any other sport - ducking, diving and slamming into each other becauset they couldn't care less/don't have the training. Well, that's what I was told by a boyfriend who when he turned to serious fitness/running refused to play 5-a-side again. My own dad retired gracefull at aroun 30is after getting kicked in the shin very badly. Honestly, it's not good for you and perhaps you need to decide footy or shape-up/weight training. So that's my view on football (don't get me started on the Pro's!). I'll get me coat.
I am not sponsored by anyone but I have now found a protein powder I really, really like!

Finding recovery hard on my legs - if I tense them I get a ache that sticks in my quads and fades over a period of about 10 seconds. Guess 100 mins of cardio a day and then heavy leg work smack the sh1t out of them!

CL is very good at being vague. I would suspect consistent training, avoiding injurous past-times and the odd beer would help him along his way somewhat. Football will always be there waiting after the 12 weeks.

Welshy Chasing the cat around the garden ? LOL !! I'll have to try that You would be surprised how tiring this can be. I once went round with a bamboo pole with my then cat and spent a good hour watching her chase the stick as i ran with it behind it and dotted it about the garden.

Im not sure if last night was a disaster or not.... Any help with a carb count? Im on a low carb/keto diet. We went nando's last night... I had a bowl of spicy nuts for starters, half a chicken and 10 chicken wings with half a side of coleslaw. What sort of carbs would be in this? Other than that, a carb has hardly passed my lips for nearly a week.

From what i can remember, carbs in coleslaw are something like 10-15g per 100g... That puts me under the limit quite easily, its the nuts im more worried about. I dont know whats even in that bowl but theres atleast 3 different kinds with god knows what seasonings... I presume the spice to the chicken wouldnt make a difference so its not that bad. Oh and you can get low fat coleslaw but its high in carbs iirc.

Every f8cking thing is the one thing I hate. I think I may be out....sorry to say it. Dieting has so far made me, more confident yes.....but also tired, irritable and generally run down. I don't have what it takes to cut properly, over a longer period yes but for a small 12 week dedicated period I am ****e. We shall see how it goes in the next few days.
